you need a good soundcard, good mics, cables in good condition, a good daw like cubase fruity loops or something by cakewalk is often recommended

You'll have to get the distances right for recording, preferably in a soundproofed room, reverb on or off being a personal choice, tho if you're recording at home you'll have to pay much more attention to the distances and angles to get a good recording.

do NOT have the amps facing the wall directly, as this will result in some of the soundwave bouncing back, creating whats called a standing wave, meaning basically it'll fuck up your recording.

experiment with different angles and use the one that sounds the cleanest and most precise to you.

Perhaps its cos you build your own synths basically, and if you havent much experience, you havent gota fucking clue what'll actually disappear if you mix it with what sounds, ie what'll boost what type of sound, what'll offset the phase or totally cancel it and obscure it, and whether you want these sounds where or what. Sound moving forwards and backwards = volume control.

Sound moving up or down is a bit more tricky, various possible ways, ie putting more bass on it will move the sound down if you have a sub, so the focus will move there, as for up in actual placement, i've not figured that yet, tho i'd assume more treble or moving from bass to normal.

Its entirely very simple, we have no hip hop artists posting in here, because theres no hip hop artists posting here. Why is that? because they get abuse for talking in a way that is natural to them. Even if its all little kids, its clear that the place is unfriendly to hip hop, since the little white kids (if they are) get abuse for talking in the language.
