I've no problem with new people. I've problems with new people who try to school me in how to behave when i was here long before them, and totally disregard the points i'm making just to try and get theirs across in this case...

I'm 20, and i'm not really that arsed about this place tbh. As you've mentioned, i seldom post. Thats because the place is BORING.

And yes, i would stick around and try and make the place better, but theres too many people that disagree with my comments to bother.

Anima theory knows where its at. The kind of place where we can talk relevant stuff, and also spam, and merely get a few days ban if caught, instead of getting a bad opinion amongst people that used to be just friends (to me) and others who are relative NOOOOOOBS.

I've not been posting cos theres nothing worth posting. PrinceG is right, there are FAR better forums for musicians out there. Around ten thousand million of them. I've found a couple where they're split into one place for chatting about shite and new releases, and another section for tips on how to produce etc. The main place i go to is ALIVE.

I have been checkin up, at first every day, trying to see if theres anything worthwhile to reply to, but there really hasnt been most times.

Right, as for naming names, i dont really see the point tbh. Nothing i say could really make any actual difference to the attitudes of people here, i'm just publicly registerin my disapproval of the whole thing.

i was here before the storm of mods and goody two shoes. Thats what. I was here when it was ok to actually TALK to people on the forum without having to go into the lounge and search through loads of pages. This place WAS the lounge.

So yeah it may seem boring, that the regs want a nice tidy forum, but if it contains useful threads, threads that can answer the questions of many. instead of threads complaining about how boring this place is. then this place will serve it's purpose even moreso!

First of all, I BELIVE in the NG AP, I see great potential in this place that´s not being used even 10% of what it could. The AF then? obviously it´s directly connected to the AF, and therefore what goes on in the AF will have impact of what happens in the AP, and vice versa.

Its not really though, the AP is massive compared to the AF, because this place is BORING.

I belive that this place could grow to become a really big audio site, but for that it needs to be changed, improved and worked on.

So, the AF as the best "medium" to get the NG audio artists together. And the better we seem "outwards" (mainly for the admins), the more likley it is that they spend time on this place. Wade once mentioned (about a year ago) that the reason he don´t come around the AF is because it´s all BS in here. You think that he will help pushing in getting the AP any better when it´s basicly built of spammy teens?

What about Tom then? He base alot of NG of the fact that he belive in the young teens being able to achive big things, he himself started NG as a youngster.

Now, Tom have mentioned many times that he wants to do the AP alot like the FP, but it takes time and energy, of course. Sooner or later I think he´ll come around and give the order, and until then the best thing to do is to keep it clean and show our best sides, even though mods still doesnt seem to be appearing daily...

Mods arent needed daily. Even if we TRIED to spam the place into a horrible mess, they'd still only need to clean the place up once a week if that...

Why "suck up" to mods and the like then? Why report abusive reviews and stolen audio? Obiously, there are rules for the BBS, and since the AF is a part of the BBS the "right " thing to do is to follow these rules as good as possible.

Now that isnt doing anything wrong, THAT is necessary. My point is bullshit is the basis for most conversation, and since everyone started acting like prim n proper 80 year olds the place has become like an old peoples home.

They ARE suckups. There is no fun to be had in the AF anymore. Its one thing to do things right, its another to take it so far that all the humour has gone out of the air.

My ultimate goal though, its´not just that I belive in the NG AP. My angle here is that if the AP grows to become large and popular, and I have had many things to do with that happening, ppl WILL reckognize and remember my name. Maybe not what I did and why, but it will stay, and that first attention of ppl is extremley important. Ppl might click my prof. and think "hmmm this guy had something to do with audio... I´ll check his songs..."
- And there you have it. I will get more exposure from doing good things here, earning a reputation, the more exposure as an audio artist I will get.

Most important things are COMFORT and clarity of sound. You cannot get both for that budget range unless you find a bargain. I asked a similar question and the cheapest i got recommended was £100.

I'm suprised that bose make bad headphones tbh, normally they have a good reputation for speakers etc, exceedingly clear for their size etc.

Well i use reason so they get exported as wavs anyway, then i use soundforge to convert them, just cos i like looking at the waveforms. Maybe its a codec issue? idk, cheers for the tip though.

This has been happening for a while, and i first thought it was because my pc is generally shitty, which it is.

Then i cleaned it up, freed room, got new virus and adware scanners, and found it is just my own mp3's causing this!
