I don't really like it though, mostly because people find it really hard to spell. They always end up saying "KorRigen" or "Koriiiiiiigaanh" or some shit.

Hey Hey.
you think ppl find YOUR name hard to spell..

i always read your name as chromomut:)

people always read mine as spamwrangler (rolls eyes)

about zero bombers?

1) im not trolling, im serious

2)who cares what your score is? its just a arbitrary number, surely?

3)i know im gonna get a lot of abuse and zero bombs for this

4)why not just be happy you have a medium to share your creativity with others, and accept ng for what it is? the downside to a system where ANYBODY can contribute to it is zero bombers, but the upside is all the cool music and helpful advice. pretty good trade off surley?

5) am i missing something, iike can enough zero votes end in a song being deleted from the portal or something? people seem devistated about getting low points. life's not a game with a points system deciding whos good and who's not, just enjoy what you got. why does the score matter?

rant over. discuss

One of the easiest way to prove you wrote a song is to snailmail a copy (ie on CD) via recorded delivery which will show the time and date sent.

surley they delivery woudnt be proof of whats on a cd?

if i send a blank cd to myself, claiming to be a friends song that he didnt bother to copyright, would i then have his copyrights?

You can try, but I can go ahead and let you know that it's doomed to fail due to one person(s) leaving, or simply not putting in enough effort - and trust me, that's exactly what will happen.

surley if one person leaves/cant be arsed, get somone else!?

count me in, im not the type to not do something just because i failed once before. what kind of attitude is that?

online bands are fun too!- and im in a band, and no one has ever tried to beat me up

can i be your bass or guitarist? check out my stuff and see what you think:)

sounds to me like the theme tune from a british kids tv show called the tweenies, but is it a re-recorded cover, or has he just ripped the tune?

any tweenies fans out there to confirm this (we wont laugh, honest!)

the lead in the microphone is called an XLR cable- nearly all proper mikes use these,
you should be able to get an adapter to go from an XLR cable down to a jack input,
but the previous guy is probably right, to record you could probably do with an audio interface
i use an external usb soundcard to plu my mics into, they can be picked up for around 50-100 quid- good luck!

had a glockenspiel as a kid, still one of my favorite instruments, my dad plays guitar, i remember him getting his old electric and amp out when i was 5 and kicking the reverb chamber in it to make a big booooom thunder sound, and thinking, 'im having some of this!"- trying to learn guitar, failing, then at 15 listened to a few nirvana albums, started playing along with them and black Sabbath's greatest hits, and no escape from there really...

i use a Behringer XM8500- sounds just as good as the sure sm58, probably not as invincible, but a whole lot cheaper, for recording instruments and voices, its the daddy, and ridiculously cheap too. check one out
