Yo people. I've been a big sonic fan since I was a shorty, and still play them as a young adult now. About sometime last year, I signed up to Sega's own message mostly for that reason alone. Around the time Sonic 4 was announced, the shit hit the fan and I was at the boards to witness all the bullshit we sonic fans are known for now. Many topics were made complaining about sonic's model, the graphics, sonic's quill size, eye color an' all dat. Then there was that petition to buy sonic 1 on sonic 4' release, and the infamous Aknotholeresedent. Nuff said there. Not only that, but I've been around to hear people complain about anything they can about the 3D games while completely disregarding the good points, and basically being assholes to anyone else not being 2D sonic purist. I was even harassed for about 5 or 6 pages because I said I liked Sonic adventure 2 more then Sonic 3 & Knuckles, even though both games are the shit anyway.

Point is, I'm just posting this to simply ask: Where do you stand on sonic games and the fanbase, and you don't have to answer both in one post. This is just for discussion to, I wont be an ass just because of a disagreement.

At my school, We used to have some guy who was... I think the head of the Religious department of our school and did Religious counciling and helped out with Church services at churches.

One day I noticed his looks reminded me of that 'Cockaholic's Anonymous' Pastor guy with 'Perfect Blow Job Lips' from Bruno so I payed my friend $5 bucks to say Gay pride near-by him.

Soon after that, we walked past and my friend shouted it out loudly. His look changed as if he was about to say something but he kept walking. We thought he may of not heard us.

3 minutes later he comes back and says to us directly 'You boys BEST be behaving yourselves!'
There was no way that was a coincidence because we were 'behaving' ourselves.

So, We managed to prove he was homophobic XD

I know this is stupid to be even asking on the video game fourms on new grounds but I need help from anywhere I can get it.

This is a very stupid question in general... but I am doing the Quest in Gecko to fix the power plant but where is the entrance to the power plant? I have found the entrance but theres nothing inside but that huge hole in the middle and I can't use a rope for it at all.

I did find one man hole in a building but that took me to a section full of weird cultists. So yeah, where is the proper entrance?

If you actually think about it in a non-biased prespective, You realise the game wasn't made for us 'Classic Spyro' or 'TLOS' fans.

It was really made for the latest Generation of kids to experience. The technology being used for the game looks pretty good for a child to use.

I mean come on, As a kid it would of been very awesome to do that with toys. The games not for us, Its for the latest Generation of kids to have fun with and get their own memory's from the game when they grow up.

If you look at it, Were all being greedy Over-Nostalgic bastards who care about our childhood that ended years ago over people still experiencing childhood. (no offence)

I just saw some demo and gameplay also showing how the 'Toy' system works and I must say it actually look very interesting. By the looks of it you have to buy some sensor thing and you place the toy on top of that and it automatically puts the toy in game.

You can switch between toys at any moment in game. I'm almost jealous of this because as a kid, I would of loved to have done this with toys :(

I'm not sure if there has been a topic about this, but Spyro is being rebooted.
Sadly the gameplay won't return to classic, but wadda ya 'spect when it's bein' published by Actovasion! (Activision)

To make things worse, This game has something 'new' in it... A way Activision can milk the money out of children's pockets. There are 30 or so characters you can use in the game or something. To unlock the characters, you must buy and collect some toys I guess...? To buy the 'simple' edition, it costs $70USD!

Damn, it looked as if it may of been fun.

But L.A Noire may take it's place because I heard while free-roaming, you had that option like in True Crime to assist police officers.

Either way the game was never hyped that much so it was at the back of my mind most of the time.

Well, it doesn't exactly suck, but it's very boring to watch that I find it surprising some Americans can be obsessed with it.

I've only seen a tiny bit of it, but pretty much as soon as some one gets the ball, The WHOLE entire team tackles him. Seriously, Why does the WHOLE damn team have to tackle one person with the ball.

It looks fun to play I guess, But still boring to watch and it's very repetitive as well.
It's either because I've grown up watching football like Australian Rules football and the British type of football or Americans just have a bad taste in sports.

I just finished my 5th playthrough.

This time I did a Patriotic Old man who used to be an NCR soldier in 1st Recon. He soon retired and settled down at a small town settlement and became a sheriff until he was asked to run a package to the strip, Which is where the story starts for him.

(Yes, I do a tiny bit of roleplay, the game is 2x funner when you give your character some sort of background!)

I actually agree with Pudin, Hands down to Conkers Bad Furday in my opinion.

There were heaps of good games that came out like Ratchet and clank, Jak and daxter etc.

I personally think they should make a Prequel to Fable I, It might actually work.
They could have a game 50-25 years before Fable I, But all of the events going on are almost 'secret' as in that the bad guy is planning out his stuff secretly or doing stuff stealthy.

At the end you are told by the Guildmaster or another main character that the events you have witnessed must be kept a secret.

I also hope the re-introduce the Fable I combat because Fable II's combat became VERY repetitive, boring and sometimes way to easy.

Maybe they could do a Prequel where you play as Nostro Or One of the Archons of the old kingdom like Sythe.

Is it me, or recently in 2011, IGN has became 10x more greedier...?
First off, almost ALL their daily fix's now have Movie/Tv show news and other non-gaming related news to get more views for it.

Second of all, They have started uploading quite a bit of user content (E.g, They uploaded the Dead Space Literal trailer by Tobuscus)

Also one thing that is REALLY annoying about IGN's community is they rave on about Jessica Chobot being the hot and the comments are filled with nothing but Sexual jokes about Jessica Chobot.

I got so scared of Amneisa that everytime I was about to enter through another corner, I would press Q or E to peer my head over the corner to make sure no baddies were there.

But just get Amneisa The Dark Decent, It's the ONLY scary game I have ever played, 60% of the reason due to the fact that there is NO combat!
