Drink the bottle of Daniels, then beat your friend with the pliers until he agrees to fix it for you?

Or, in other words, it's not enough for you to prove yourself right. It only counts for you if EVERYONE ELSE sees you're right.

Don't post again until you've gained a little more maturity, or at least learn that you're not as hot-shit as you think you are.

True, but it's a waste of forum space over a topic no one else is interested in except for you two. Stuff like this is reserved for Private Messages and Private Messages only.

I don't know if I'm comfortable with the graphic design though, I liked the Cel shading style of the previous ToS.
I think it's going to be a pretty good improvement. I really dig the whole rebel army against the evil empire cliche storys. With an even faster and improved battle system. It's bound to be an excellent game and I just might get a 360 to play it.

Wait a minute, Dawn of the New World is the Symphonia sequel? I thought it was going to be Wii exclusive?

Also, why have we suddenly turned from an RPG club into a Tales club?

THIS THREAD IS NOW ABOUT RAGNAROK.

Okay first of all I'm surprised this is coming to the 360. But these character designs are incredibly unoriginal, absolute rip-off of Guy and Luke.

More like Guy and Tear to me, in terms of looks, but I can see where Luke's influence sets in.

Updated thoughts on Tales of Abyss so far (after 5 hours 43 minutes of play):

It's funny, because even though it seems like a lot of time to be playing it, I'm a stickler for training, so I haven't even gone that far. As we speak, I'm only at the middle of the Fubras River, and both Luke and Tear are at level 15; Jade is level 13-14 (I forget), and Guy just turned 12. I also have each character decked out in the most powerful available gear right now, thanks to the Gald earned from so many battles.

No, seriously. At the one point where you're on the Tartarus, I used the trick where walking towards the center has Jade say "We're not foolish enough" and the two enemies respawn on that area, and used that to level Jade twice before I continued. I am a sick, sick man, and I don't doubt I'll raise everyone to almost another level before I leave the River.

Music is still sub-par, but battle is getting better. I just got a taste of TWO FoF changes (even BEFORE learning about them!), those being Luke's Blast move into Freeze Blast, and his Fang Blade into Lightning Tiger Blade, and ONE change after the explanation, that being Guy's Crescent Blade FoF. I look forward to figuring out more of these, although I wonder if each skill only has 1 FoF it reacts to.

And, Guy. GUY. MY GOD, WHY DID THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT SO OBVIOUS. My friend and I had theories on his orientation as soon as we first saw him, and THEN THEY HAVE TO GO AND MAKE HIM AFRAID OF WOMEN. Way to keep it a mystery, guys.

Symphonia was still more fun, at least concerning how far along I am at this point, but considering I usually go to every area ANYWAY, backtracking won't be much different.

I still do like randomly firing the Sorcerer's Ring though. No, it does not have anything to do with hearing an adorably cute voice.

MIEEUUUU!

My thoughts on Tales of Abyss so far (after 42 minutes of play):

Graphics are worse in fluidity than Symphonia (more "sketchy" in execution), but better overall (the character models do look more realistic, etc.). Waiting for the map to reload after battles, however, quickly gets tiring.

I find it harder to relate to Luke at first, because he's a spoiled brat. I know it's unfair to compare him to Lloyd, but at least Lloyd had an understandable attitude; even considering Luke's predicament, I found myself wanting to slap him alongside Tear more often than rooting for him. Knowing this could change later on in the game, I'm patiently waiting along the ride.

I'm fully expecting that I'll enjoy myself more once I unlock some new Artes and whatnot, and the battle music is certainly enjoyable, but for the time being my memories of Symphonia are a bit more fond.

More to come as I progress.

Only once, after falling asleep while in the Chao Garden of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. I was trying to get a maxed out Hero Chao to become a baby again, and by the time I woke up I didn't know how much time had passed since it did.

I frantically began to exit, but noticed it saying "now saving" and unwittingly shut the console off to try and "prevent it" from doing so.

Oh shit.

Emblem data was saved, but my Chao were F-U-C-K-E-D, including my Chaos Chao.

I have since gotten the final 2 emblems, but my Chao Garden is still a repair in progress.
