i didn't thoroughly read your comment but it seems to be somewhat of an over-analysis, but by no means is it wrong as reasoning and importance of such an alliance varies.

i don't know what it is with you people and having to come up with ridiculously convoluted and long-winded explanations often involving, or bordering on, Jewish world control theories.

yes, and it is this idea that they are perverted and should be punished, even before they act out on their attractions, that prevents these people from seeking treatment and avoid doing something that merits punishment.
but most are also aware of inappropriateness of their actions and the pain it will cause their victims which is why punishment is still applicable.

but as far as "defects" go, since homosexuality does not harm those involved there is no reason to punish or treat such individuals and why it would fall outside the scope of mental illness.

too bad sexual repression never eliminated any of these things.

and others, but i'm not sure if it actually applies and the context i used it in.

while i am pro-choice i must stress the importance of the word choice, and how serious a choice it is. while it may be minor there are still considerable complications ranging from possible sterility to mental health issues even from properly performed abortions, not to mention it is the disposal of a possible human (and who knows what could go wrong during gestation) and all the other fun dilemmas that go with that. its more an issue of the casualization of abortion despite how serious an issue it is that bothers me, considering that a large portion of those getting abortions are repeat patients (not that i particularly want them to reproduce either).

fuck Ethnic relations. its a three hour class once a week for which i have a total of three pages of notes while for my stats class (two hour-long classes a week) i have 13 pages.

minimum three times the number of what i have for ER in any other class.

2. Ghetto Fabulous guys in the lowered convertibles, Don't call me baby.
I'm not your baby.

i may have solved both your problems with a simple solution.
step 1) procure melons; preferably cantaloupes or others of a similar and manageable size.
step 2) go to Victoria's Secret; when asked if you require help (and you see that breast measuring gleam in their eyes), have your melon's measured and procure a bra of the appropriate size.
step 3) when confronted by a ghetto fab posse; load melon into bra cup and use to introduce your melons to his car.

simple is relative.

And, I know you said he was a brightspot but still I have to assume, talks more like someone playing British than someone who actually is British.

well it was more the knowledge that he kicked ass in something else that made it better, not his actual character. in Rome he plays a similar character, but Rome had a decent story and script.
don't know about the playing a Brit; he didn't talk that much.

well i could have made my list longer but its hard keeping track of so many things. it is kind of fun, but the bad movieness doesn't outweigh how painful it is to watch.
case in point; theres a scene on a frozen lake where the knights stay behind to give the people they saved some time to escape from an army of Saxons. they attempt to force the Saxons into grouping together so the ice breaks. when this fails the guy who plays Titus Pullo in HBO's Rome (one of the few good things about this movie) runs forward and starts hacking at the ice with his axe sending a wave of ice cracking death towards the Saxons resulting in a ridiculous and over dramatic Saxon ice-bath. at which point Pullo dies.
side-note; you have to be blind not to have seen that his character was a) going to die first and b) going to die at that point in the film.

do you have any idea what the 2nd amendment says about America? it gives the citizens, each and every one of them, the right to defend themselves from danger including the government. in a time when governments controlled the lives of its people the American government said "here, take these weapons to defend yourself from your enemies and us should we ever threaten you freedom". it might be 200 years later but it still says the exact same thing.
