"where did God come from?" therefore i can prove some bullshit intelligent design theory wrong. second, belief in the big bang and evolution does not make one an atheist.

which is part of what i said. simply becuase it can't be proved does not mean there are no arguments for and against the existence of God.

really, so what happens when a person is able to argue for and against the existence of God equally well? or what if you do not agree with an already established religions or perceptions of God but still believe in a spiritual/non-material realm/dimesion within existence?

yes, because the effort it takes to stop kids from buying video games takes valuable resources away from scientific research, military funding and international affairs. no wait a second; it doesn't.

Point is, having engineers develop new technology isn't really "trying to be like the US," it's more like "trying to have a technology industry like every other developed country in the world naturally has"

the problem was that i was trying to rap a whole bunch of stuff up into a compact statement, but to say Canada doesn't strive to be US like sometimes is ridiculous. obviously developping our own technologies doesn't necessarilly make us US wannabe but it is the fact that our societies are extremely similar which leads us along similar paths (i think i'll change my statement of US Jr and say that should be more specific to our social culture).

no theres buttboy and then theres America junior. the difference is that America junior tries to be like the US by taking part in modern stuff (the Arrow, Canada Arm, Mars rover thing) and theres buttboy as in "we want you to love us, take anything you want, just please love us".
