no, no mic cut, but i don't think Geraldo was able to get a word in at all after he got started. he just seems to have a tendency to overreact. i've seen plenty of polar opposites argue without shouting matches and silencing. i mean Ted Haggard and Richard Dawkins didn't attack each other during that little interview.
how is this such a bitch fest? Canada bought a few planes to fulfill the limited needs of its comparativly small army.

ya there you go.

ummm, i don't know if you realised this but your statement is absolutley incomprehensible.

that would be the mic cut lady, did the guy have a moustache? because he may be the one that got O'Reilly shouting like mad. bah, it just makes him look relatively insane.

fun to know.

bope, don't recognise them and the books i had seemed relatively old.
other question, Memorize made mention of the little change in earth age in text books but i don't recall any studies hinting at a (significantly) different age.
nothing personal, just trying to figure out if i missed something.

no exaggerated, just from limited viewings of his interactions with people. entertaining to say the least.
even if what i saw were flukes, it was absolutley ridiculous.

hell of a choice there.

why is he so angry?

sorry, i was somehow convinced Mohammed hiding behind a baby carriage meant something.
i think i can sum up this entire thread in very few words: "once again (insert name here) has ignored what i said".

a more appropriate comparison would probably have been between amputation and gangrene, but eh, i'm not the one giving a lecture about things that have very little to do with evolution.

really? elaborate.
Why are people so closed to other explinations besides science? What happens if science fails?
anyone who believes that everything science claims at the moment must be correct, and feels dismayed when things are corrected is a fool. science cannot fail because it is meant to change and correct itself. corrections to currently held beliefs are the entire purpose of the sciences and what we knw will continually change. religion, and religion masquerading as science (intelligent design) is incapable of change and self-correction.
though religion on its own has a different purpose from that of science.

in the 80s we were supposed to design and build the biggest ice breaker ever but, as we all know, that didn't happen.
