Thanks, I looked at the list of forums and apparently missed it, though I felt like General isn't quite the right place for that.

And if it concerns anyone then I probably started visiting Newgrounds regularly at around 2001. :-P

Yup, that's the one. The graphic style is actually not like I remembered it, maybe I mixed another game in or assumed it's 8-bit because of the text commands.
Thanks a lot!

Trying to find a game on the site.. Posted January 1st, 2012 in General

Hey everybody. I remember once playing this game with an 8-bit look that had a guy in a pub, and you needed to hit on girls, which resulted in all kinds of strange things. It also had achievements (though it was before there were medals on Newgrounds).
I tried all kinds of search words but just couldn't find that specific one...so does anyone have an idea what I'm talking about?

The sketchbook isn't a game and Doug-Out was awful, and I'm surprised Robot Wants Kitty is only in the runner-ups.

VVVVVV only a runner up? Madness!

Great, thanks :)
Any XP users that might find this useful, for me the path is:

Copying Flash games' saves Posted October 31st, 2009 in Game Development

I use two different computers in two different places. There's one that I tend to use on weekends and then I get to play some games here on Newgrounds, but sometimes I have a few spare minutes during the week and want to continue where I left from another computer.

My question is if there's any typical location where Flash "saves" are stored, so I can just copy them to my USB stick and keep playing? If not, how can I locate those files?

I tried googling for some app that does that or a guide, but whatever I tried searching for, it always directed me to ways to download swf files to my hard drive.

Obviously that would've been the perfect scenario with every other Hammas militant killed, but they are hiding so an event like that is pretty rare. In a perfect world that probably would've been the sole way of operating.

It's been like that up to a few days ago.
Oh it appears I need to write some more text because Newgrounds won't let me post.
