I also second the rips in jeans, although not cross-shaped holes. Normal rips and tears are cool with me.
Btw, the Satan looks great ;)

The cross-shaped holes are from where the crosses burned him, if he decides to add them. I agree with Kakashi though, Satan never looked so good, but I don't see how he can lift his body weight with those wings. That is, unless, those wings are merely the shriveled remnants of angel wings from when Satan was once an angel...

No problem, I didn't realize satan was a jeans guy. However, you may want to add holes in the jeans in the shape of crosses if you do eventually add them to the chains. Also, his jeans seem to be in great condition considering he resides in Hell. Just some more thoughts of mine, although you probably already thought of most of them yourself.

It looks good, but I think the crosses would really add a little extra to the picture even though you are having some trouble with them. I was thinking maybe a larger version of those charm bracelets, but with large crosses. Maybe only have 5 or 6 crosses total, but have them large (size of his fist). Also, on his left hand (not our left) maybe the the chain could come out from between his thumb and pointer finger instead of just hanging limp behind his hand. His hand looks like he should be holding something as it is now.

Another thought about the chains, since you may or may not add the crosses, you could add some more chain wrapped around his legs / trailing behind him since it is supposed to be slowing him down. Just my thoughts before you get too far into coloring it.

The one in the middle perhaps looks a little too much like Altair or Ezio from the Assassins Creed games.

I noticed the Assassin's Creed guy in the middle too, probably because I just beat Brotherhood yesterday.

As for the picture itself, I think it could use some highlights since all you have is the background green and a dark green shadow, a light green highlight may add some life to the picture (if used sparingly). The guy on the far right is my favorite because he is the one with the unique facial expression. That and the fact that his expression looks a little unrealistic (more cartoon than real life) due to his mouth, but still real enough to give almost an exaggerated look to it. Almost like putting a few extra (!) at the end of a sentence!!!

As for the guy on the far left, his visor thing could use a little improvement. I say this because it appears as though the black part on HIS left passes his eye, and stops between his temple and his ear. The other side, however, seems to end quite early, this made it appear as though his visor wasn't quite even. You might just want to have the black abruptly stop and the edge of his visor end slightly elevated compared to the black so that it looks like it curves around his face and ends where the viewer can't see it. It's quite difficult to explain in words.

Anyway, I like the look of this, and the use of only one color.

I'm always right, except when I'm wrong, in which case I was given incorrect information...

Also, you may want to think about changing the background color from white to something a little darker since your character is made up of lighter colors. That way your cupcake wont blend in so much with the background... Just a thought since I don't think Nae has everything complete just yet.

From what I hear, Koss is good quality for most of their products. Remember, you get what you pay for, so those headphones that are really cheap will probably sound terrible or break within a few weeks. I've found that Audio Technica makes a really good closed headphone called the ATH-M50 and if you can find it on sale somewhere you should get it. The usual price for the headphones are $150-200 but you can sometimes find them on sale somewhere for around $99 and if you have that kind of money to spend, they are a great buy for the price.

I'm not in Japan, I had family fly to Japan for a business trip a few days ago.

The 8.8 earthquake did very little damage to anything over there in Japan because they build everything to withstand earthquakes due to their location above a major subduction zone. The skyscrapers actually swayed for 30 minutes after the earthquake because that's what they were built to do. What really messed up Japan was the fact that there was a huge tsunami that came crashing into Japan after the earthquake. So long as nothing major happens with the nuclear power plant, everything should be fine with the people I know. Thanks for the concern everyone, but you shouldn't too worried about the people who were fortunate enough to avoid the flooding. I hear several bullet trains were swept off of the rails and are now unaccounted for.

Did you know that the airlines are charing $4000 just to switch from a Wed flight to one on Mon even though the flight on Wed is already paid for? I call that price gouging. Anyway, thanks for the concern, my family should be out of Japan by Monday. Should be ok as long as the seawater keeps the nuclear reactors cool.

Response to: Sneaking alcohol on a cruise Posted March 13th, 2011 in General

Will they let you bring fruit onto the ship? If so, grab yourself a watermelon, carve out a decent sized hole, empty out some of the insides and pour in your booze (preferably stuff that would taste good with watermelon). Do this a day or two before setting out so that the booze can soak into the fruit. Cork the watermelon back up with the plug you cut out when you made the hole in it and profit by eating the fruit. You can also inject vodka into oranges and other citrus fruits and then let them soak a bit before eating. This is what some people do to sneak booze into events where there is overpriced alcoholic beverages (sports games).

As for your picture, I agree with the people above me, you need to work on anatomy. The most glaring error for me is the right arm. For some reason it is both farther away from the viewer and yet it is smaller than the left arm, which is closer to the viewer.

Just wait until the Earth's polarity switches, there will be a period of time when there is no magnetic field on earth, and radiation from the sun will go unstopped. Everything that relies on the magnetic fields for navigation would also be lost. No one knows how long this polarity change will take, it could be just a few minutes, days, weeks, months, or even years... So about that lead paint, I think I'll keep it on my house for a bit longer...

That's where I learned my coloring technique lol. But I tweaked it a bit from the tutorial.

I need to learn how to color my pictures, right now I am doing it all wrong by creating one layer called "Color" and change color when I make a mistake then paint over said mistake... Definitely the wrong way of doing things. So many things to learn, I should probably focus on anatomy. I might as well do something, my week off of college consists of sitting at home bored out of my mind / worrying about family in Japan.

I have the LG Cosmos (not the touch screen version) because it allowed me to become a part of a family plan that didn't require me to spend $30 bucks a month on a data plan. There is wi-fi all over my college campus so I just use my 4 year old ipod touch to brows the internet when I don't have my laptop with me.

So far I have had no problems with it, Verizon even gave me a 2gb micro SD card for free. Granted, I've only dropped it twice, once at 20+ mph while on my bike (slipped from my pocket) and once when someone kicked it out of my hand for some odd reason. The only downside to it is that the SD card is difficult to remove so when I want to offload pictures onto my computer I have to spend a few minutes trying to get it out.

From what I have witnessed, the more technologically advanced a phone is, the easier it is to break. I had a brick of a cellphone before my LG Cosmos and it was nearly indestructible when it came to drops / throws (if you could find the battery / back case)

Maybe portability is a important for someone? Seriously, just because they don't play games so good doesn't mean they're useless.

I agree, laptops are almost mandatory in college. They do everything from allowing you to take notes during a lecture, surf the web between classes, and even play a quick game when you get bored out of your mind during a lecture. If he really wants portability, but still wants to play graphic intensive games, I would probably buy a really cheap laptop/notebook for the portability and basic computing power of every day tasks. Then with the money you saved, buy a desktop gaming rig if you are really into gaming since laptops aren't too great when it comes to things like that.

Or if he likes computer games, but doesn't play them non-stop (or doesn't care if he has to reduce the graphics), he should get a mid-price laptop ($800-$1100). Acer is a company that has quite a few models, I personally have a 13" macbook pro due to the student discount + free ipod touch.
