That's because most of the people who ask for stuff like this don't get a serious response. You should consider yourself lucky that no one made a giant dick with coderconnection written on it in Ms paint. Considering your response to the great looking logo, that giant dick would be a better representation of your personality.

May 6th is a day after Cinco de Mayo. A hommage to Luis?

Response to: Flood The Portal Fridays! 7 Posted April 1st, 2011 in Art

Awwww damn, I overslept and didn't even get mine finished. In my defense, I was roused from my sleep a total of 12 times due to drunk people getting back to my dorm and banging on doors and shit and took a 7 hour "nap". I guess I'll just put my flood picture up at a later time when I get around to finishing it. From what I could tell, the flood went well.

I've had cs4 on my mac and that has never happened. How do you zoom in? I usually hit z then left click and hold while i drag my mouse to the right or left (zoom in zoom out). I don't know if that really has anything to do with it. You may want to try reinstalling it at some point if the problem persists.

Hey! It looks like you've made some progress, I guess that means it's time for me to comment. I like how this looks, the color really adds something to the picture. As for the crosses, you may want to go back and change each one slightly so that it doesn't look like you copy/pasted them. The big chunk out of the left side of each cross really gives it away. Other than that, it looks good to me.

Response to: Can you drive? Posted March 28th, 2011 in General

I can drive, but I don't. My first car was a 1993 Toyota Camry, but I haven't driven it since I went to college. Now my ride is a bike (as in bicycle) and I've gone more miles on it than in my car (2k+). That isn't my car in the picture though, I don't live at home so I can't exactly go outside and take a pic. However, that is the model and color of mine.

Can you drive?

Maybe add more detailed roots, such as smaller roots that travel around the F. You might also be able to make the lettering look like carved and weathered stones with the tree's roots breaking off small chunks. Just an idea, I like the vector look of the picture now, but I would like to see a more detailed picture as well.

I probably missed a lot of the 'hip hop' element here, but bdsbguihdfui.

I really like this painting, but you still may be able to add a hip hop element to it. I was thinking you may be able to have the tankman standing on the tank be located in the open hatch on top of the tank. You can then add a pair of turntables integrated into the tank right in front of him. The turntables would be connected to the tank, which is connected to the speakers. Just my idea since this picture is closer to a depiction of the NG Audio Portal rather than a hip hop album cover. If you don't change it, the picture is still one of my favorites in this thread so far.

Response to: Wisdom Teeth out. What to eat? Posted March 23rd, 2011 in General

Do NOT try to drink milkshakes with a straw unless you enjoy the taste of blood and the feeling of pain. Also, I ate some mac n cheese, but I ended up with a few noodles stuck up inside my gums. It wasn't a pleasant experience, but I did manage to eat some food. Also, scrambled eggs works well so long as they aren't too hot because you can really feel temperature on the healing gums.

Go back to the general forum.

As for your question, the bamboo pen and touch allows the input of both the pen and your hand gestures (obviously). I personally chose the bamboo pen because I rest my hand right beside my pencil when i write/draw and I didn't know if the pen and touch would go crazy if I had my hand resting on it while attempting to draw. As for the programs, my Bamboo pen came with Corel Painter Essentials 4 (probably what comes with the one you saw). If you really want to use photoshop, your university may have a deal with Adobe, like mine does, that allows me to download the full CS5 line of products for free. The only stipulation is that I have to delete all of the programs once I graduate, or pay a fee to keep it registered to me. If you can't get a deal like that, you can always get an older version of photoshop for really cheap, think CS3 or earlier.
