Well......that's an interesting view. Threads like this one make me want to preach the gospel of Retroactive Abortions. Uhh... the government is pretty much run by....... (dun DUN dun) the government.
I'm sure it was on Truman's mind, but the reds were so far along with their own bomb, I don't think it proved much to them beyond the fact that atomic weapons really did work, which was a topic of much debate up untill the Trinity Test bomb was detonated,
Sure, it's kinda spooky, but to each their own. Live, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness, and all that jazz.
Alot of such genocides go undertaught in school. Whilst we focus here in the States on the Holocaust, there have been many more, such as the Japanese's Manchurian Offensive, the Russian genocides in the forties, the ongoing "Ethnic Cleansing" of Chechnia, and the 1994 ethnic cleansing in Rwhanda in which 800,000 civilians were hacked to death with machates in a month.
Sometimes, I think most of us Americans are all lazy xenophobes, regardless of ethnicity or culture. It's not where you're from that makes you a lazy fatass, it's living in America that does.
Well......duh. I wish my daddy would buy ME an ivy-league degree.
Seems like he's a bit scared of Europe now, doesn't it? I will bet anyone any sum of money that US forces will capture him about a week before the presidential election.
Well, this is allegedly the "land of opportunity." Hey, someone's gotta do the dirty work.............
Can I join? Pretty please? I'll be a good little clock, I promise! I'm not great as an animator, but I do well as a writer.
Some of you guys may be a bit young for this, but is there anyone else around here who just loves a fine cigar? Personally, I go for a nice Maduro Churchill, but that's just me.
Ah, what the hell, I'll throw in my two cents. Yeah, guns are cool. They're really just a tool, no better or worse than the man carrying it. I personally own a Russian-model AK-74 and a Yugoslovian SKS, as well as an old Thompson .54 Percussion Lock. I've put some thought into getting an AR-15, maybe a nice Bushmaster model, but those are a bit pricy. My favorite is still the M-60 my guard unit lets me operate, though.
Man, when we're discussing the science of iced tea, this should be a que to get a real life. :)
What if it's so damn cold that it starts to freeze without having to put ice in it? Would that be iced-over tea?
Actually, I've just been too lazy to post stuff untill now, but I figure what the hell, if I'm gonna watch this shit all day, I may as well throw in my two cents.
Since I don't want federal agents breaking down my door and carting me off, I'm not gonna say too much on this, but so long as you have a small jet and a few hundred pounds of plastic explosives, it is concievable. Of course, you gotta worry about those mobile SAM sites on the DC mall.
What if it's room tempature? Then it's niether hot nor iced tea. y'know, like, iced tea without any ice.
Are you a college student like me who spends way too much time on Newgrounds? Then you're in the right spot!
ICED TEA KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ah, you poor kids in high school.
In all honesty, I'm afraid your election prediction may be right. One of Bush's former aids came forward quite recently and said that on 9/11, Bush ordered his advisors to "find the Iraq link", showing he had the intent to start the war at his first chance. Let's face it, he wants his revenge on the man who tried to kill his father.
Well, what do you guys think? Me, I'm gonna say Kerry. Not because i'm some tree-hugging hippie (I'm a guardsman, for christsake), but because I believe that Bush lied to the face of each and every American citizen when he insisted that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
Okay, so maybe he's not that underrated, but I'm gonna have to say Teddy Roosevelt. The man was an absoulute badass.
