I find it a bit backward that Tom has been called out. To all of you who have been digging at him about artistic censorship on the idea that this site should go down to emphasize a point about artistic expression. If you were in his position would you really keep that post up? Can you rationalize it by saying that the internet is what it is and if you don't like it, don't be on it? What does that position really prove more than your own ignorance? What I am trying to say is unless you would actually act the way you do online, cut the crap and grow up. If the world had a few more people trying to do things for the good of a people as a whole rather than preaching their own ideals the world would be a better place and conflicts like this would not happen.

The one thing I want someone who reads this is to come away with the sense that the world is bigger than the computer screen you use to surf the web. Explore ideas different than knee-jerk reactions to subjects. I'm sure that this choice was not an easy one to be sure. The fact that Tom is being given crap for an ultimately good decision is truly deplorable. Yet again if you want to harp on the loss of freedoms, go outside, do something, don't be an armchair activist. Think about this, if something was threatening your livelihood you wouldn't think twice about removing it. People are trained to think this way. So why is it that people who are providing you a service for free should be beholden to you?
