Use the searchbar next time, please :)
Eh, I wouldn't stress about it. If there isn't anyone you're interested, don't just try to find someone to be with just because you think being in a relationship (or simply 'having a girlfriend') is the right thing to do.
I've only ever had one girlfriend, and we got together when I was 18. Sure, I had many crushes before that and at times I was desperately lonely and wanted to be with someone, but now I've found someone and I'm happy. I never pushed myself to do anything unless I knew it was what I really wanted.
Also, DON'T USE THE WORD 'LITERALLY' UNLESS YOU MEAN IT.
Happy birthday MadCow! I know how you love birthday threads :P
But srsly dude we go way fuckin back so take my fuckin birthday wishes.
This isn't the place to post your playlists. Keep that in your userpage. Please read the BBS rules and the AF rules.
... You're already approved :P
But anyway, it won't hurt to keep pushing this thread.
I like Rig too, but this forum isn't the place to make threads of appreciation for your favorite users. Try to keep it in your userpage, in a lovely PM to Rig, or just somewhere else :)
Please take a look at the Audio Forum Rules; This forum is a place where musicians from numerous different backgrounds can share their wisdom with other audio artists and users new to music. The emphasis is firmly on the creation of music rather than listening and appreciation. (Threads relating to your favorite song, band, or guitar solo will be deleted.)
As well, making a thread in any forum about your favorite band without significant effort and material or asking for other users' favorites isn't a good idea, because we have a favorites section in our profiles for just that reason.
I cannot believe how well you managed to capture my likeness.
Nice work!

While I agree that the AP is lacking a few genres, this has been brought up numerous times, and the proper place to suggest changes for Newgrounds is in this thread. Please read the OP containing the thread's rules before you suggest anything, though.
dont forget to see my submissions :D
Keep your advertisements on your userpage, in your sig, and/or in the Audio Advertisements thread, please.

That's Ludwig van ;) Beethoven
Anyway, question has been answered.
You should just submit your song and mention in your author comments (and/or in your advertisement post) that you weren't sure of the genre and would appreciate outside clarification.
"Please tell me what genre it is and also leave some feedback on my first song" is exactly the kind of thing that belongs either on your userpage, in your author's comments, or in your advertisement post.
I believe this belongs in here. You could also look for VAs in here.
I've only been paintballing once, and that was about eleven years ago.
As has been suggested, you should probably wear thick clothes that you don't care about. If you're going to be playing indoors in one of those places with rocks everywhere, it might do you good to think about your shoes, too. When I went, I didn't get shot on the feet so there wasn't any issue about paint on my shoes, but the rocks got them really dirty in an I'm-never-going-to-try-cleaning-these-fu cking-shoes kind of way.
This might sound kind of lame, but maybe gloves would be a good idea. I actually got shot in the hand and the paintball shell broke in pieces which cut the skin. It hurt like a bitch, so gloves might be able to stop that from happening to you.
Don't waste your balls. Shit's expensive.
I don't know if I'd do it again just because it costs money and I'm not sure it's really my thing (like laser-tag), but it's definitely worth trying out. Hope you have fun :)
Suggestions about NG go in here, but read the thread rules first.

I totally thought the topic title was "I'm gonna hang an old black chick"
Then I thought "Huh. I think I'm offended."
Then I realized my mistake.
Then I thought "Huh. That probably makes me a racist."
:(
There are different ways to get your music heard. I suggest you advertise as much as possible without breaking rules or being annoying; advertise in your sig, in your news posts, and in the Audio Advertisements! thread.
Check out this thread. There are a few handy links that can help you out in terms of exposure, including the Underdog list, the NG musician front page list, and the Review Request club.
Other than that, just keep submitting, trying to improve, and having a passion for your music and you will definitely get some attention.
Locking overdone thread.
BTW I don't consider myself a "top audio artist" and I hope that by answering you I haven't automatically made myself look like a snob.
Though I probably do enough of that anyway HA!
If you click on the logo in the top left corner, you can see details about a particular YTMND (pic below). This applies to other YTMNDs as well.
Your answer: Airbase - Spin

Also, see this thread about exposure.
WOAH that's a big advertisement.
Please post it in the Voice Actor Advertisement thread. You can look for potential parts in the Voice Actor Wanted thread.
You can congratulate him on the one year anniversary of his song via PM, on your userpage, his userpage, or you could just simply keep it in the favorites section of your profile.

Sometimes I just feel like playing around with a program when I come up with something, and other times I try and nothing good comes out of it. I completely understand the frustration you're talking about; I've had it before as well.
I've never hated making music, though, it's just that sometimes it doesn't seem to work and I can't get the creative process going.
Honestly, the best advice I can give (which is what most people are saying) is to just leave it for a while. You don't necessarily have to go back and try again later. You might benefit from simply waiting for inspiration to arise. I get sad sometimes when I haven't been able to write music for a while, but it feels so great when I haven't touched FL for weeks and all of a sudden I get a great idea.
I let my inspiration control me rather than trying to control my inspiration.
Problem has been solved. In the future, please try to improve your topic titles.
