I remember Oz. I'm not sure whether I only saw a few seasons or if I watched the entire series, but I know I sat through a large chunk anyway. My father rented season DVDs and I watched it with him and my brother.
I really enjoyed the show. I like watching fiction that takes place in prisons; it's just not all that common, especially in the graphic way Oz was. I remember it was filled with intense moments, and for the most part, the acting and writing was quite good.
I'd been thinking about it not too long ago. I'd kind of like to pick it up and watch it over again. Great series.
Proper answers have been given and this should have been posted in the FL thread in the first place anyway, so no need to keep this alive anymore.
It's working fine for me.
Every once in a while it doesn't load properly and I just have to refresh to get it right. I dunno what your problem could be.
That was lame.
Don't ever post chat logs again. Srsly, it's in the rules, fool.

Nope, but you can easily copy and paste your OP in a new topic in that forum.
Enough of your copypasta.
Tom Green was a fad. He had what the generic MTV audience wanted at a particular moment, and then he was gone. Just another idiot on the MTV line-up. No king of comedy.
Underrated? lol. Washed up.? Definitely. I wouldn't go as far as to say overrated because he's been dead for a while now.
I used to think he was funny when I was 13. Edn.

Is this what you're referring to? Eh, I just felt bad for the guy. I might have even felt worse for him because he just seems tired.
Also yeah Canadians lick my balls.

Yeah, I got what you were saying the first time round, the point I was making was simply that it doesn't matter (specifically if it's 'to be cool' -- I was adressing this new idea that it's cool to not smoke).
At 12/15/08 12:49 PM, fli wrote: Why don't you smoke?
Because it's "cool" to you, or because you actually believe smoking is harmful.
It's not about believing that smoking is harmful, that's just a fact. If they've managed to make it cool not to smoke and people don't smoke because of it, hey I think that's a good thing. Maybe a few lives will be spared.
I smoke though, I'm a idiot lol
There are monthly audio contests with actual prizes (link to the current one). The MACs always have different themes, and they have had themes that were related to Flash contests in the past - to encourage Flash authors to use music from the audio portal.
Sometimes users set up their own contests here in the AF, as well (those usually don't have prizes).
You just have to look around a bit and you will find things.
Please read the Audio Sticky and use the searchbar.
The proper place to request reviews would be here.
You should take a look at this topic and check out some of the links there as well.
Keep it to the Audio Advertisements thread.
For some reason or another, it appears you do not have the power to control the masses. Your opinion can be heard, though!
It just belongs on your userpage in this case.
Yeah.
Please don't just post links to YouTube videos of songs you enjoy. Keep that kind of stuff in your userpage (and I don't see why you wouldn't -- you can even embed those videos in your blog).

Yes, that short story is one of the beginning of a collection in his book, Haunted.

This is a post of brilliance.
On topic: As far as animated sigs go, tbh I'm not extremely disappointed by their retirement. I never really used them myself, and I didn't always particularly care for the majority of them. I do believe that an animated sig has the potential to be 10000x more funny, though, and that does make me sad :(

I agree. It's kind of like a modern day version of "I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship."

I fucking LOOOOOVE the movie (haven't read the book). So good so good so good so good.
I <3 <3 <3 Chuck Palahniuk.
I just finished reading my first Palahniuk book, Haunted, last week. I'm thinking of going to pick up another book, as I enjoyed it quite a bti. I do want to read Fight Club, but at the same time, it's Fight Club. I don't want to miss out on something great because of a sellout-ism, but I'd also like to read a more under the radar book. I know I'll get around to reading it sometime anyway.
ALSO, I just read this: Palahniuk has mentioned at book readings that he is working on a musical based on Fight Club with David Fincher and Trent Reznor.
HOLY SHIT I HAVE A BONER
This forum isn't a request line. It's not a good idea to make topics asking people to go get things for you. You might benefit by reading the BBS rules.
You could try using Google to find your pictures, backgrounds, or whatever. There's a wealth of sonic material and fan sites out there that I'm sure are easily accessible because for some reason tons of people have an obsession with the idea of a fast, colorful, talking animal.

Read the Audio sticky and the BBS rules, please.
Cool! I hadn't noticed.
Like most changes to NG, it takes a little getting used to, but I definitely think it's an improvement. It's pretty fun to type in just a few letters to see what comes up if you're bored, too ('fuck' is a good read).

Oh shit I must be stupid or something. THE SECRET IS OUT!
Fuck that shit.
I don't want everyone knowing how unpopular I am.
