As people are saying, you should keep this as a newspost. This kind of thing belongs on your userpage; we have a favorites section for a reason. You even have the ability to change your top 10 favorites there as well :o
Shocking, I know.

[Here's a nice little break from an ugly advertisement wall. The following songs were submitted this year, while all the above tracks are from 2008.]

OP seems to be approved.
Take all that hard evidence to the other little 41 page thread about it.
Heh. I never knew there was a Star Wars Day. It's got a wiki and everything. Interesting how it lands on the same day as my anniversary. It is also interesting how I share my birthday with Carrie Fisher.
However, I don't in the least consider myself a Star Wars fan.
Not only is this old as hell, it's also been done numerous times -- this one being the most recent.

lol.
When you ask us to suggest a song (or possibly to create one), it's just a hassle to throw songs at you over and over and never hear you say they're good because you haven't specified. If you really want to get exactly what you want, you should make it very clear (genre, mood, possibly instruments, length, etc).

Very interesting. Mayhaps I will do something about that once I start my new job in a couple of weeks.
We don't need another thread begging for more genres. It happens time and time again, and we always redirect to the Evolution thread. Make sure you read the first post for thread rules and browse through it before you suggest anything so that you're not just being redundant.
This forum is really about the creation of music. You'll find your answer much more easily in the Flash forum.

FFS I wish I could use PayPal in the store :( I want some NG Merch, and I'd definitely get in on this action. Congratulations, man. I guess I have another reason to go get a credit card now :P

Yay! Pico Day 2009! I look forward to seeing many entertaining Flash submissions.
Happy Birthday, Tom!
Take it to the audio ads thread.

Thanks for letting us trannies know.
Problem has been solved; thread locked.

lol yeah ... You can't make new rules either. It's perfectly fine to bump threads as long as it's done properly (OP: You should refrain from bumping the way you did - "bump." It's frowned upon. See the BBS rules and/or this guide for clarification).
My name is snayk, and I am a White guy.
If you're looking for comments on your voice, you should be posting in the VA advertisements thread.
In the future, you should use the searchbar before making a new topic to see if it's already been done. This one has. Many, many, many times.
The reason this thread keeps getting locked is because it houses repeated no-thought single line +1 posts. Believe me, there is nothing interesting about scrolling through a thread to just read "artist - song name, artist - song name, artist - song name".
There are many ways to get exposure. Among those which were mentioned in the thread (Audio ads thread, Review Request Club, Reviewing other people), you can also make blog posts to advertise your music, compete in the Monthly Audio Contests (winners get front page spots), look at the NG musician front page list and check out the Underdog list. It's also a good idea to watch this forum because animators and programmers often come here looking for music, and it gives you an opportunity to be featured in different projects.
Giving you this link might seem redundant now, but then again, the link is what makes this entire topic redundant. This thread is just another one to add to the pile. In the future, please use the searchbar before making a new topic.
As is stated in the sticky\, this forum is really for discussion of the creation of music. It's not the place to share your video projects.
You can convert it to Flash and submit to the Portal, embed it in a newspost, or share it in the video thread (read the thread rules first).
At 4/11/09 01:11 PM, Alchemist94 wrote: And the audio forum is for discussing the productions of music, not listening to it.
^This. You can get a better idea of what this forum's about by reading the sticky. Since you're new to the BBS, you might as well take a look at the BBS Rules while you're at it.
This kind of discussion is better suited to General.
Don't make threads to advertise your website; you can do that in your sig and on your userpage.
As for the actual advertising of your voice talents and/or recruitment of new talent, check out these threads.
