Alright kids, calm down. Sheesh :/
Thread should have been over when OP was linked to VA Wanted thread.

Oh yes, mos def.

You'd be surprised. Users still create new threads for voice acting when the other two are up top, and they also create advertisement threads and other stuff.
It sounds to me like you think we're planning on stickying individual topics. That's not what's going on; we're suggesting important topics to be included in THE (one) audio sticky.
I'm surprised this hasn't actually been mentioned yet, but the Audio Joint absolutely needs to be off there (especially since I locked it) and the Lounge should make its way into the sticky.

Look at those.
And srsly, don't barge in asking for help in such a way when you haven't even done the smallest amount of research whatsoever.

Nope. Don't create threads to report abusive reviews; just flag them and move on. If a review breaks the guidelines in the FAQ, click on the "X" that appears on its bottom right to flag it. This will eventually bring it to a review mod's attention.
I'll have to look back at the rules...lemme go do that.
Good idea.
you can close this thread now, my bad.
Done.

Sounds good.
If you're curious, you could try submitting another song - if you have been banned you will see a message informing you of such. If that's the case, you could PM an audio mod right away if you have inquiries concerning your ban.
Use the Fruity Loops help thread.

Really, this.
sorohanro linked you to exactly what you need to see: the AF rules. These threads don't fly here.
For your own good, you might want to take a look at the BBS Rules as well. Spammy posts are not a good idea.
You'll find lots of good artists in the AP if you look hard enough. To see which ones we like you can take a look at our favorites.
Take your Ritalin and keep in mind that this is not a request forum. The main purpose of the AF is to discuss music production, and while occasionally song requests do fly, they don't usually fare well. You could always make a blog post about it or PM some of your favorite artists to ask if they'd be interested.
For your own good, you should read the BBS Rules and the AF Rules.

Read the rules. You were even linked to it.
It is clearly stated. This topic does not belong.
EDN.
Stop being so fucking impatient you should be aware that there is a waiting time to get fucking approved. See this fucking thread for more fucking information. A couple of fucking days isn't that much; it can take a couple of fucking weeks or sometimes longer, because the audio mods are fucking busy.
To see if you've been fucking banned, try submitting another fucking song and you'll see a fucking message informing you of such.
Cows are fucking boring.
Fuck.
At 7/1/09 10:19 AM, MH16 wrote: Go here
Precisely.
Look at the audio sticky MH16 linked you to. It's there for people new to music making to get answers to questions like this. We see a bigajageelion topics like this, which you also would have noticed if you used the searchbar at the bottom of the page.
See this list Rig made a while ago for a little bit of a better idea what software NGers are using.

That's what ya need.
Yeah, a couple of songs are not available on the AP, as is clearly stated on that page; The remaining music is not currently in the Audio Portal, sorry!
At 6/27/09 08:03 PM, MICHhimself wrote: Grrr, cleanup thread still on the page.
Keep it in there, or PM an audio mod.
Overdone.
Before making a new topic, use the searchbar at the bottom of the page to see if it's been done before. In this case, you should have consulted the Audio Sticky (this topic is what you're looking for in particular).
If reading up on it there doesn't satisfy you, you'll find loads of threads about the same thing where users have weighed the pros and cons of different software if you use the searchbar. You can also get an idea of the software and VSTs some musicians use by checking out this newspost of Rig's.
When listening to an audio submission, click the little heart under the author's name to add a user to your favorites list.

No, it's not suitable; the AF is reserved for topics regarding music production and related things. See the rules for clarification if necessary.
If all of your songs were deleted it was your fail, not NG's.

1 - Some people would see how NOT do reviews.
2 - Some review mod. would fix the problem.
Users can see how to make appropriate reviews by reading the guidelines in the FAQ (which they are supposed to read & agree to before reviewing).
The proper thing to do would be just to flag abusive reviews and wait for a review mod to get a hold of it. If you for some reason feel a user's reviews are in need of urgent attention, you could directly contact a review mod.

^ Take a look at that link and inform yourself.
You've been around long enough to know how to use the searchbar.
I'll copypasta what I wrote in a recent thread about this:
NO COPYRIGHTED SAMPLES. PERIOD. It doesn't matter if the creators provide free samples.
Remixes are NOT allowed; the problem is that people don't often have the proper definition of a remix. A remix is a different arrangement of an original song. This is not to be confused with a cover, which is a recreated song (from scratch) which should credit the original author.
The issue is often debated, but it's really quite simple; You can cover a song if you make it from scratch and don't use any of the original samples. You cannot use samples and create a remix. POINT FINALE.
