I had never read this until today as someone bumped it. Well, that was truly a compelling story and most importantly - tragic.

He was indeed a person in the wrong place at the wrong time, Livecorpse I never knew you or have heard of you until now but your story was really quite touching. It is just a shame you went the way you went. You have my utmost respect in death regardless of what you done in life the story shows that you were just unlucky, one accident after another. I am not religious but if there is a god may you RIP in heaven or wherever you like.

Respect Livecorpse, may your soul RIP.

I know exactly the type. I am quite impressed, I leave one simple post and it kickstarts the topic.

I don't know how you can talk about human life in such a way. Sometimes it's better not to let people do what they want.
My older brother had a friend who died of a herion overdose. (Kinda why i feel so strongly about this)
His family went through a lot of shit. It's a family's job to take care of each other, right?

I see where you are coming from, I once had a friend who went out clubbing, he was looking for some Ecstasy and so he found a dealer. My friend bought some of the dealer and took them, that night my friend died, why? because the Ecstasy he took was not Ecstasy but pesticides.

If drugs were legalized shit like that would not happen as the scene of the drugs would be regulated.

You can't stop someone from being suicidal, but if you put them in a safe environment, they'll find it more difficult. The same thing goes here.

Or alternatively you could treat them for being suicidal. In legalised drugs society we could make cards, the drugs would be served at bars as so to be a limit of how much of a substance can be taken, one could be revoked if taking far too much. As for the addiction create stronger drugs specifically for these people, then treat them later when everything is bad.

Sorry, but that's fucking stupid. All illegal drugs are harmful, of they were harmless, they wouldn't be.
No government would ever even raise the question of legalizing all drugs. Legalizing them for economic purposes would make them sellouts, abandoning their beliefs for prophet.

Lots of legal drugs are harmful as well, what about tabacco? what about alcohol? there are several prescription drugs that are very harmful if abused. I did mention the economy could fuck up due to inflation as did China and the opium trade long ago, If we legalised drugs lots and lots of crime wouldn't happen.

We could try and regulate them too. besidesits not as if the government is ramming these drugs down your throat now is it?

Then again any country could, however China once traded Opium and their economy become too inflated because they were too rich and had to stop making their currency.

Ahh the possibilities.

Way, way sicker than the original, in my opinion.

Eli Roth simply had a bigger budget, that and he had set the bar with Hostel for your average western audience now he pushed it. I think he wants to imitate Eastern Cinema or something because thats what it looks like to me. Hostel one and two still sucked, we don't care about the characters therfor don't give a damm about what happens to them.

Indeed, there's no way in hell the BBFC would let the first two pass. I can even see them banning Mermaid in the Manhole under the impresion that its "gorno" as some people say. People base that on the following things:

1. Sometimes, the facial expressions look like they imply orgasm.
2. No matter how fucked up the rest of the mermaid's body gets, her breasts remain unscathed. (Why the fuck were people focusing THAT hard on them during it?)

I don't know, they most likely did ban them a long time ago and the creators didn't bother appealing. You know you are the only person on the internets i have talked to who actually seems to know what they are on about when talking about guinea pig series. Every other time it seems like someone is talking out their ass on hype from it.

I don't think they were banned, I think they were not released. I think the earlier ones were banned.

Just curious, what episode in the Guinea Pig series do you think is the sickest? From what I saw of it, I felt Guinea Pig: Devil's Experiment is the sickest, even though the acting of the woman is laughable. Guinea Pig 4: Mermaid in the Manhole is the one I find the most disgusting though, and amazing.

Hmm difficult choice, Devils experiment really has no characters and is from start to finish some woman being tormented, its not realistic and on unlabeled VHS it was cool, however I'm in the UK so I have seen all the series VIA torrents.

2nd one was gory, Mermaid was just odd. I think I would go with the 1st one for the memorable eye scene. Yes that still makes me go ouch.

Now think for a second; if your evil, would you DIE to make others miserable? I mean, don't get me wrong, but if they where just evil couldn't there be better ways that WOULDN'T lead to their imminent deaths? Like, I dunno, bomb some pre-school or something? They didn't do it to spread misery, they did it because they thought they where doing the right thing. They where convinced that they where giving their life to destroy what THEY thought was evil, and that makes them hero's. To then turn around and say "ZOMG DEY ARE EVIL LETS HATE DEM!!!" we are doing the EXACT same thing they did. These where good people with convictions, and they died for what they thought was the good of mankind. If you want to hate anyone, hate the people that warped their views in the first place, the people that convinced these men to kill themselves for the "Right cause" when in reality they just sat back, didn't risk their lives, and let all those martyr's kill themselves for nothing more then to further some manipulative rich-boy's political agenda.

Devils Advocate, if that wasn't obvious enough.

Ok, In the first point you claim evil people would not die for their cause, care to give proof. So I I were to become a dictator in a 3rd world country and at the end of my reign of tyranny decided to go out with a blast and explode my compound when I am inside whilst it is being raided, does that make me a matyr of good intentions because I died for my cause? NO.

The reason they did it is because of the USA funding of Israel that kills innocent people in the Middle East. The message was simple "We can kill your people too, don't fuck with us" these people were severely brainwashed and misguided in belief that the U.S was the centre of their woes.

I hate both the terrorists and the people that warped their views. With your post its like saying all members of the Nazi party that died fighting in war are heroes when they clearly were not, or that the Kamakazi bombers of Japan were matyrs too.

In truth good and evil are only opinions of man as they are defined solely by man, to the Japanese the Kamakazi bombers were good people dying for the cause and for the soldiers of the S.S and the 3rd Reicht they all believed they had a good cause. DIDN'T STOP THE CAUSE FROM BEING EVIL.
