Maturity is something that is percieved, you can not measure maturity. You may say someone is acting like a 4 year old, but how does a four year old act?!?! But I'm sure some people who have the vote haven't had as much political experence as me

If you give someone with the mentality of a 4 year old boy but in the body of a 18 year old male, give him a gun, he can easily kill you really easily.

I don't think that being 14 should make me excempt from the law, but however I do feel that because I have to follow the rules I should have a say on what rules there are.
Ok so I'm 14 and I have to follow the law, which is made by the goverment, yet I can't vote and I most likely understand politics than alot of people who can vote. How fair is that?

But if human nature is a human construct, it is therefore not their "nature"
The Freudian "id" is not the only part of a humans nature(that is if there is one). If someone can change their "nature" then surely it is in their nature to change their nature. Which would mean there is no underlying eternal "human nature". If there is no eternal human nature, then their is no human nature since "human nature" is something all humans have in common. :)

Perdix: But surely saying that people CAN be stupid and people CAN be intelligent doesn't that prove that its not in human nature(nature being something unstoppable and common in all of us)
