At least that faggot SlipperyMooseCakes didn't make the official thread about it.
Or did he...

Here are some scans of the game. I'm a bit bummed it is coming out a year a away but that's ok.

Instead of "Mac's cant do this, mac's cant do that, pc's can btw" it should be "Pc's are able to ____, ____, mac's can't"

Doing it the way they did, just comes off, well..childish :/
Perhaps childish, but Microsoft is far from the first to implement this strategy. Apparently you haven't really looked into advertising very long. If you would, you would realize that most advertising is childish (including the Mac ads) and are just ways for those companies to suck up the potential consumers money.
I have a feeling they're going to need to release a lot of patches to balance all the things they have going on. Then again, there are talks about a beta which should have been done for MW2.

Midget.
Title was a bit misleading, but that has already been pointed out.
Perhaps you need a driver for your Joystick. Look for the name or product number of the one you have and Google it for drivers and try that. Or it might just be a faulty controller perhaps.
I can't wait for this game. I was a bit bummed it is slated for 2011, but that is a good thing at the same time. I don't want them to rush a game out just based on the success of the first game. Hopefully it wont be as disappointing BioShock 2 was in comparison to BioShock.

Stick to Diablo 3. Speaking of that game, it was suppose to be a trilogy...
A couple years back I made a thread about games people wish were on the consoles they owned/loved. I randomly stumbled upon it the other day and got the idea for this thread.
I thought it would be kind of neat to see 2 years later what games wishes actually came true. The game industry is constantly shifting and evolving to the point that it is hardly recognizable to older gamers. For shits and giggles lets take a look at who go their wish.

Somewhat came true. On October 1, 2007 Bungie and Microsoft announced their departure. Since then Halo: Legends has come out on Blu-Ray (which is unplayable on an Xbox 360) and Bungie has announced a multiplatform game that will be coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360. As for the Halo games themselves, the IP is owned by Microsoft so it will not be hitting another console without their consent.

Somewhat true. Insomniac (creators of Ratchet and Clank) announced a multiplatform game that will arrive on the 360. While it will not be a R&C game due to Sony owning the IP, it's about as close as you can get.
So there you have it guys. I hope you found this a little bit interesting and perhaps I'll do it again sometime in the far off future. I think this goes to show the fall of exclusivity in gaming and the constant evolution of it. I did my best to get everyone and if I missed some I am sorry.

I got that as well on my HP. It was some stupid trial crap the computer companies pile on your computer. I hate it when there's a bunch of junk software I don't want when I buy a new PC. The first thing I do is remove just about everything and then install my own programs.

It looks like they're bringing back a lot of the things cut from Halo: CE/Halo 2. The whole dinosaur thing was scrapped a long time ago.
It is coming out on Xbox LIVE on September 8, 2010 and I already bought and played it on the PC and iTouch. The game is pretty sweet and is one of my favorite "Tower Defense" games.

This makes me happy. :)

PC modding = worthwhile and entertaining
At least that's how I feel.

I'd agree with the rest of the list but Halo: reach has like Gears 1 graphics, not even. Sure it might have more setpieces that make the overall experience on par with other games, but it isn't really much of a graphics monster.
Uh...Halo: Combat Evolved was pretty renowned for its graphics when it launched. Since then the Halo franchise has constantly been behind in graphics and hasn't really competed much graphically with most games. However, Halo: Reach is the first HD Halo and it is looking pretty hot. I'm not sure if you know this but all the gameplay we have been seeing is in game. The
E3 demo looked great in my opinion. I'm not saying it's one of the best looking games, but it is definitely one of the best looking 360 games.
I think exclusive games tend to show off a console's power the most. It makes sense considering a game was specifically designed for that console and the developers can really focus on one version of the game.
In my opinion Alan Wake, Gears of War 3, Halo: Reach and Forza Motorsport 3 really show off the Xbox 360's graphics capabilities the most.
Ratchet and Clank have had two iterations released on the PlayStation 3. Tools of Destruction which sold around 2 million copies and A Crack in Time which sold around 1 million copies. That is pretty successful. Perhaps it pales in comparison to games like Halo, Call of Duty, etc. but they are solid sales compared to most other games which never get close to that.
Sly Cooper is about to have an HD collection released on the PS3. It will have all 3 games, be in HD and will support 3D.
As for Jak and Daxter and the other two series for that matter, they are featured in an upcoming game called "Heroes on the Move" for the PlayStation 3 and will have PlayStation Move support.
That's not even mentioning the PSP iterations of most of the above series.

Makes sense to me.
And before that they made card games, if we're just going by games in general.
Nintendo was founded in September 23, 1889. Sega was founded in in 1940. However, Sega started putting out electronic games before Nintendo.
Nintendo did publish the Magnavox Odyssey. And yes they were originally a card company.

Halo: Reach, Gears of War 3, and Batman: AA 2 are the only ones that really completely grab me. I'm interested in the Crytek x Microsoft project, but there is minuscule information regarding that project and it could be years off. Alan Wake is my game of the year so far. I just love the atmosphere of that game and feel so engrossed at times. It is far from perfect though.
:Dance Central is the only game that actually gets me a bit excited, and I probably won't be playing it unless my college roommates buy Kinect. Turns out my dorm room will be 360-only; I'm not bring my PS3 and one guy said he was bringing his 360. I guess my dispassion at the moment is actually sort of positive in that respect.
Dance Central actually does look pretty good. It's by Harmonix I believe and I love Rock Band. I don't think I will be buying Kinect either but if it were given to me as a gift I would check out DC and probably use it for the navigational benefits on the dashboard. Other than that I still have no interest in motion controls in general. I don't even own a Wii yet.
Eh, it's college anyway. Gaming won't matter to you as much because you will be busy doing work and socializing.
In a lot of ways, I think Uncharted 2 has made me look at the upcoming releases more cynically. When I look at upcoming games, none of them give me the feeling that they'll come anywhere close to challenging its greatness. It'll probably take Kojima or Naughty Dog announcing their next project to reinvigorate me.
When they tease Uncharted 3 at next years E3 I will shit myself more than likely. I'm pulling for an Egypt or an Atlantis setting. Most people have said similar things I guess.
Diablo 3 is the other announced game I'm really giddy about, but it's hard to get excited when it's still so far away. That'll be all I play for awhile when it comes out though.
Well after it gets delayed a few times and you have graduated college, then it will be released.

I'm sure you guys list this all the time, but what PS3 games are you looking forward to? I'm mainly focusing on exclusives because I buy multi-plats on the 360 so that's why I really only discuss the exclusives here.
On my watch list:
Sly Cooper Collection
Heroes On the Move (probably going to suck but I like the idea)
Killzone 3? (I'm not sold on this after disliking the first two)
Facebook style games if anything. Games that are simple and contain micro-transactions. These games are getting more and more popular with Facebook and the iPhone. I believe the most played game in the world is currently Farmville which is a bit weird I guess. We're even starting to see that now on Xbox LIVE with some things like indie games.
I actually don't see first person shooters dying out because of America's infatuation with guns and explosives. Considering the United States purchases the most copies of most games and does purchase the most copies of first person shooters, I don't see things changing. Perhaps around the rest of the world, but not in the states.
I actually never fully played a Sly Cooper game. I was the same way with Ratchet and Clank up until this generation, played it, fell in love. I'm going to try to do the same thing with Sly Cooper once the collection comes out. The PlayStation has the best platformers in my opinion so we shall see what happens.

1.) Why the fuck would you buy a used Gamecube game for $50.00? Especially considering your history with the game and you knowing what the launch price was. See full post for the exception.*
2.) You should have looked around. You blame the store for the price, yet you purchased it anyway. I don't think you can pin this entirely on GameStop.
Gamestop - $20.00
Amazon - 12.00
Ebay - $13.18
*And after doing a little research (about 3 minutes) I found out that the game is considered rare and is and is coveted but a lot of game collectors. Games that are considered rare are often the same price, if not more then their launch because of their rarity and value. Regardless you can still find it for cheap at some places. It is a bit hard/expensive to find the pad and the game together but you could purchase them separately and get a decent deal. I'm sure some people who don't know the value of the package will even sell it a bit cheap if you really looked around.
1up mentions it is rare
It's actually one of the top rarest and most expensive GC games.
Current value on the market.

Unfortunately he's correct.
http://multiplayerblog.mtv.com/2010/06/1 6/halo-reach-multiplayer-wont-include-sp ace-battles/
"No, no multiplayer in space combat," Bungie lead designer Lars Bakken told VG247. "However, since 'Reach' still has four player co-op through the campaign, you'll be able to play four players. Each person will have their own sabre, and you'll be dog fighting in outer space against the AI."
During Bungie's Comic-Con panel, the firm told attendees that:
"You haven't seen the last of Master Chief."
Could this mean that the Master Chief will be making an appearance in Halo: Reach, or is there a Halo 4 in development that Bungie is aware of?
