Things like Netflix, Party chats, etc were all on Xbox Live first and weren't part of it at launch. Microsoft has put a huge focus on Xbox Live this generation and is their biggest strong point. If you look at Xbox Live in 2005 v.s. 2009 most big features today weren't available then. The thing with Xbox Live is that Microsoft creates services people didn't even know they wanted. The PlayStation Network is the opposite. Most of the updates revolve around things the competition has and people have been wanting for a long time. While this is fine, it does nothing to really expan online gaming for consoles. Saying things like "Oh it will come to the PlayStation soon" and "What else could they add?" are pretty ignorant and close minded statements.

I can't wait for the 10s which doom video games altogether.

Tuesday is when the embargo lifts officially, but I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing some leak in tomorrow night.

PC version...Oh noes.

You forgot to add in the timed exclusive map packs for the 360 version there bub ;) Not to mention most people buying the game already have gold so it really isn't an extra 50.

No. They are in no legal position to ban you if you play the game early and you legitimately bought it. However, if you downloaded a pirated version and play it online you will most likely be banned.

Unless I'm doing something wrong.

You can customize your avatar so that 343 is always there when you're avatar appears on the "My Xbox" blade or the Friend's blade.

Supposedly the IGN score got leaked.

IGN Modern Warfare 2- 9.5
IGN Modern Warfare - 9.4

I have actually been a bit de-hyped over this game after a lot of leaks. I'm sure I will enjoy the game but some of the things they put into the game is just too much too soon.

Halo Reach or Rage might be able to compete as well, but I personally think they won't be quite at the same level; Rage might not even be comparable given how much of a hybrid it seems to be.

I think Halo: Reach has the potential of doing it. It may not be the most realistic one but I think it will blow people away.

I think I'm getting towards the end of Ratchet and Clank now, and I really like it. The biggest improvement is the open nature of the space gameplay; it's somewhat reminiscent of Super Mario Galaxy with the spherical world. There are a few less weapons, but they all feel useful this time. In Tools of Destruction, there were a bunch of weapons that were more of a novelty. In ACiT, I've found every weapon to be useful at some point. The dialogue is still funny, the visuals are crisper than ever, and the platforming and combat are both really strong.

A lot of people have been saying it reminds them of Super Mario Galaxy. I'm glad ACiT is getting the recognition is should from reviewers and gamers because it really is a good platformer. The humor, the art style, graphics, story and just sheer fun are all great and I enjoy it more so than I have a Mario game in a long time.

The repetative waves of people in Uncharted 2. It was fun and all but for awhile it started being the same thing over and over. Between that and anytime you go to cross a bridge or a platform and it collapses or breaks it could be a bit annoying. You need obstacles in a game like that though so it is understandable. I wouldn't say it was shitty, just unenjoyable to me.

I don't really want it to be a city in the United States. Actually, I would like to see a woman as the protagonist of a GTA game and not a man. I think that would be a very interesting spin on the series. Something like GTA Tokyo with a woman could be a really fun game.

As opposed to offline internet? =p

I would have to say the PC is the best system for internet. When it comes to online gaming usually PC has the upper hand bit it depends in some cases. If you want to play with some friends from school or want your family or girlfriend to play a long with you, than PC isn't really the way to go. It's also not good for games that have peripherals like Rock Band, Tony Hawk: Ride, etc. At least not in my opinion.

To each there own I guess. Unless it is the Wii online. It's terrible.

I would say Call of Duty 3 is going to take that spot. It wasn't really all that bad, it just didn't do anything new and was way too much of the same.

In MW2 I'm a bit overwhelmed with how much they are changing up the game and am a bit iffy on how I feel towards it all. I'm sure it will be a great game but it is a huge leap from the first MW to the second.

Metal Gear Solid
Tomb Raider Series

Spyro Series
Crash Bandicoot

Those were my favorite and I still enjoy them to this day. Most of the series I wont even touch the newer versions of.

To my Knowledge is was Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast. It is still one my my all time favorite games and there is still a cult following to the online play. Close contenders are Halo 2 on the Xbox and Starcraft on the PC. All the mentioned games were my first interactions with online play and are on the top of my favorite games list.

Usually Japanese people don't like bigger and bulkier things so the sales will be interesting. The DS is a beast in sales so if anything can over come a shitty redesign, it's the DS.

Yeah that would have to be one for me. I picked that game up with my PS3 and it just wasn't the game for me. The campaign was OK but nothing more than that. The multiplayer was again, OK but didn't do anything for me. Gorgeous game though.

Army of Two I made the mistake of buying. Hated it.

Censored Australian version V.S. Uncut version of Left 4 Dead 2

As you can see, the censored Australian version has been so edited, that it's less gory than even the first game. There is no blood splatter, no gore, no wound detail, no zombie dismemberment or decapitation. Zombies cannot be set on fire and their bodies will disappear from the screen as soon as they touch the ground. There are also less zombies coming at you.

yeah, anyways...

The gap between the 360 and PS3 is at least 2.5 million more than what you said. The gap lies between around 7 million for the most part.
