Despite the questionable themes, i HIGHLY suggest looking at animal anatomy. Yes they may be human hybrids, but that is no excuse for poor anatomy.

Horse Skull 1
Horse Skull 2
Horse Head 1
Horse Head 2
Canine Skull 1
Canine Skull 2
Fox Skull 1
Fox Skull 2
Fox Skull 3
Fox Head 1
Fox Head 2

You get the point.

Now, since you need help with human anatomy, please study these...

Rough Muscle Anatomy
Rough Skeletal Anatomy
More Muscle Anatomy

Please, look such things up and study them, they will help a lot.

:) Much better, i'm REALLY glad that you fixed her left hand's middle and ring finger. The shading was off and made them look as if they were one.

Yeah, i think you have a distinct style, but it shows your influences, which in my eyes, is a good thing. Keep it up, not many cartoonists left it seems.

I don't know exactly, i guess i drew too much. Ive learned from that piece.

AlexanderTheInsane wrote:
That looks great! How long did it take you?

The fist was about a 5 minute sketch then a 15 minute paint.

The guy's head took about 45 minutes total.

I need to slow down.

Not much diversity here, i can't seem to grasp the "draw what you see" correctly.

Self portrait... i guess?

I would that the shading is too dark or it's placed in a way so it looks as if the character is next to a light. Darkening the base color wouldn't be a bad idea either.

I like your style, but god damn is your lighting too strong. It looks as if EVERY piece, the subject of the piece, is right next to a light source.

Answer these question to the best of your ability:
- Do you think racism in America is predominantly black vs white?

No.

- Do you think black vs white racism is the most talked about form of racism?

No.

- Do you think other racism (for example white vs Latino, et cetera) is worse off than white vs black racism because they're less talked about?

No.

Okay, is your English class for the retarded?

PLEASE ask your teacher this...

So, say you're walking down the street, you're white, and a person of dark skin is extremely rude to you. You label him and everyone else of his skin tone assholes/dicks/jerks/etc.

Now, a week or so later you're walking down the same street and a white guy is extremely rude to you. You label him as a dick, not everyone else who's skin is white.

So, now, with that, how can ANYONE be sincerely racist?

I'll try my hardest not to, we have until November right? Should be enough time for me to find some more cold press paper. Until then, i shall sketch and study buildings/vegetation.

I suggest downloading a trial version of Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, or anything else like that.

Paint is holding you back, especially if you have a tablet.

I suggest getting a cloth and draping it over something so that it makes a plain background and put a simple object in front of the cloth. Draw what you SEE not what you think. Practicing realism/drawing real things helps a lot. Or just draw things in your room or where ever. I used to draw the students on my classes when i was back in school, but decided that that was a bit creepy, you may not want to do that.

Also, if you're intent on continuing with cartooning, i suggest that you watch A LOT of old cartoons and look at a lot of art. Video 1 Video 2 these are just things to study. I also suggest looking at John Kricfalusi's, creator of Ren & Stimpy and Spumco, blogevery once and awhile, he usually has some tutorials/studies posted.

i REALLY want to show a metropolis post human extinction/evacuation. Sky scrapers chocked by vines and other vegetation that now serve as fantastic habitats for numerous animals and remaining humans.

Of course the "monster" would be time, but i highly doubt it would be allowed.

I see a bit of Starcraft influence in your 3d work, but i like it. The only thing i suggest is to mess with the lighting. I personally have about 2 hours total of 3d experience, so i can't say much.
