Which is odd, becuase the people who follow that law are also the people whose property is most likely to get attacked.
I'm beginning to think that our government hates us chaps...
He kinda did kinda over-react He didn't even fire off a warning shot he just killed them whilst they posed no direct violent threat. Although I do think you shoulod have the right to defend your property you also can't just go on a rampage killing people
At 8/9/11 07:49 PM, simple-but-sandy wrote: Well, self defence with any degree of force is. You can push someone but that's about it. No clubbing burglars to death for instance.
I'm studying Law atm and yeah the force has to be "Reasonable" so basically If they have a gun you are allowed to shoot them if they have nothing you can punch them but nothing beyond restraint

_elcriz000ng: who wouldn't of looted already broken into shops with no cops around
Let it be known elcriz is part of the problem and not the solution.
He's probably talking shit anyway like he would have the bollocks to go out there and loot a shop by himself
I know of 2 but theres no official count. One was shot and killed in his car in Tottenham and another was shot dead somewhere else but I forgot where

That is an incredibly stupid argument and also please learn to spell. I'm not going to talk to you after this seen as though this is about the riots. If you want to show you incredibly biased view on family cases then make a thread about it
Fathers 4 Justice is a retarded group Judges do what is best for the child. I think they prove they are not responsible adults by climbing buildings illegally dressed as super heroes
Some people are going out just to get stuff from shops then going home they see the riots as an excuse because they won't get caught
Age range of the people in Manchester atm is from about 13 - 45
Hundreds of people at Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester, Set fire to a huge department store

It's a small country small riots tend to become big because idiots think "I wanna do that to"
At 8/8/11 10:10 PM, DarkMatter wrote: It's like these rioters have been watching V for Vendetta too much.
When it comes to big corporations that's one thing but small business owners shouldn't have to deal with this bullshit.
I doubt they've even heard of V for Vendetta seriously Intelligence and these rioters are long since disconnected

I'm pretty sure sexual harassment and rape are defined as separate things
My favourite is Winston Churchill's Iron Curtain Speech . Shows the start of the Cold War and all the Nuclear Paranoia.
