How so? The government doesn't make guns usually an Arms company is behind stuff like manufacture and distribution.

The government buys a lot of guns though..

Government Tax. Lots sold -> Lots of Tax Money. Plus the fact that many Gun manufacturing Companies pay Governmental and Congress officials a lot of money to be leniant on tax laws (and don't say that this doesn't happen because you just have to accept that every government is corrupt. But you can't change human nature -> Greed)

I'm not trying to say that US should make guns illegal because that is impossible and stupid, One because it is too late as there are billions of guns in circulation and it would be an impossible feat to destroy them all and two because the government gets too much revenue from gun manufacturing and purchase so they would never accept it.

My argument is that Guns should absolutely not be legalised in the UK if anything there should be stricter gun restrictions.

and if there were gun laws, good guys may not have guns, bad guys probably would have guns, or no one has guns and the korean shop owners get beaten to death by an angry mob.

The Koreans were able to protect themselves because they were allowed to own guns.

I see how imposing gun laws in a country with billions of guns would not work. However over here people managed to protect shops without them.

Today is not as bad. London seems to be quiet due to the high police presence (From 6,000 officers last night to 16,000 tonight) but other citys are becoming violent tonight. A man was beaten and ran over after trying to stop rioters. Some communities are coming together and protecting their area though such as Turkish and Kurdish shop owners outside their shops with Baseball Bats and Crowbars
