How it should be interpreted is an interpretation inside itself. If what you've just said is true, then western religions focus no more on war than eastern.

Pic mildly relevant

By Eastern I was really looking at Pacific Religions. Such as Taoism, Buddhism , Confucianism etc.

I don't mind them (although the admittedly tend to get very homoerotic :S) but what annoys me more the recent amount of new members who think that they will die if they don't make a thread about every mediocre idea or overused Idea.

Girls aren't an alien species who all like a specific pattern of man. If you are trying to impress a girl, just be yourself. If she doesn't like you then she's not for you.

Yeah you have a point. I doubt anyone honestly believed that, but if we look back that's the only evidence and it could just be science fiction for all we know.

I will try to focus on one teaching every couple of days and that way as I go on I will become more and more in touch with my self and Confucianism as a whole. As of the moment I will focus on that teaching as I have let Rage control me the last couple of days and need to meditate on that.

College means University in America. However in Engerland it means the place between School and University (16 - 18 year olds)

University "College". Or British "College"

Isn't a way of living basically a religion? it teaches us to be better people and rather than focus on why we exist or what happens when we die we focus on the present and perfecting our character
True but hey confucianism doesn't tell us who to hate or what we should do or wear. Some of the popular religions do.

That's what I mean about the difference between Eastern and Western Religion. Western religious belief is greatly associated with war.
