I usually open up dozens of tabs with the songs, then after I find a lot of cool sounding tracks, I download them to a mp3 player. so my sessions tend to get pretty cpu intensive, not to mention my normal multitasking.
what i usually did was turn off visualizations... but now, even the "no visualization" option is pretty intensive, with its shimmer effect, glow, and spinning disk.
possibly the player always did it if too much memory was taken, but this new player takes up more so it happens more easily.
remember that I'm not asking for the new player to be removed, as it is very nice looking, but to let users choose to use the old player

PLEASE let users switch to the old audio player. why? remember back when in the cartridge days of gaming, if you where to tilt the cartridge, the sound would hang in the most horrible sound ever?
well, the new player dose that. songs that go la la laaaa, la la laaaa now go la lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllla la lalalalalala
