Poor marketing strategy on SEGAs part. Mainly had to do with bad release timing, lack of DVD player (yes the gamecube didnt have one but its nintendo), and a couple other factors. However, if it wasn for the dreamcast console online play might never would have happened because it was the first console to have that option, yes the PS2, Xbox, and eventually the Gamecube had it but the dreamcast came out several months before them so the thought for online for them could have been a last minute thing they put on.

Because Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is comming out for the regular PSP. Also all the other stuff that people have been saying in this thread so far.

GOTY version, its such a good deal with the whole main fallout 3 game with all of the DLC on one disk and its going for about as much as a new game is going for.

Ya I also enjoyed the RTS elements. Otherwise the game would have been nothing really interesting and just been regarded as a God of War knockoff. Yes I am a metal head and I enjoyed the world the game is set in and all but really the gameplay would have just been bland if it didnt have the RTS spine on it.

PS3 owners are a little more independent compared to the average xbox user. Honeslty I'd find it quite annoying having my friends talk to me while trying to play Fallout 3 or Assassins Creed.

Black Hawk Down was the insperation to have the beginning of MGS4 in the middle east. I honestly never would have thought Escape from NY could be an insperation for MGS, but now that you mention it I can see it.

I think Fallout 3 could pull of this title, espically when you blew people to piecies. Parts of skulls, entrails, hearts, etc. Sure not a lot of true blood splatter but you gotta admit its a gory game.
