Noob Question_Blur Problems Posted November 19th, 2014 in Animation

Im trying to make a looping movieclip with a blur effect.

When I make the movieclip I can add the blur effect. It looks blurred on my stage, but when I export it there is no blur!?

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I'm old-school and using Flash CS3
