As a guy who was really into Newgrounds during 2001-2004, then didn't take as much interest over time and now occasionally visit the site (in favor of real world, and not other Flash websites), I'd say Newgrounds is as cool as ever. It's bigger, badder and better. The new style doesn't seem out of place at all, and the essence of what I liked about Newgrounds still shines through to me.

heh, it has allways been that way. some idiots resubmit. In my opinion there are four reasons for that behavior.

A) they think that the next time they submit it, it will pass, or it might pass. it's simple they see a piece of crap in the portal and want to do the same. so when it doesn't work the first time they simply resubmit. (truth is they have another chance, but chances are that because it's a resubmission people will vote more harshley)
or
B) they HONESTLY believe the flash they made actually IS a masterpiece. and if the voters don't see that, it's just because the author is ahead of his time.
or
C) they do it to annoy the voters who voted badly on it
or
D) to get blam points themselves.

so A) is dumb B) gloats in his delusion c) is just an asshole or d)blam-hungry (read addicted)

A month ago, there was an entry on the homepage about a angry person who spoke to telemarketers over the phone. He repeatedly got louder and louder as he called them assholes and asked to be taken off their call-back list. The audio was an actual recording, taken from the author's company.

I've searched the portal, under author's comments for combinations of "asshole", "telemarket", "actual" and "phone", but I haven't found the movie. If someone remembers this, please post a link here.

Anyway, as it's been mentioned by RyoHahn, the other large topics were a serious problem because spamming was affecting the site's productivety and efficiency. The BC topic does not receive multiple-constant replies, and as such creates none of the problems caused by the BBS super-spamming of the past. So, The BLAMming Club:Enemies of Crap is just as legimate as any other topic on the BBS; don't try to fool yourself into believing otherwise for your own reasons or preferences.

It isn't hurting anyone; if you don't like the topic, don't view the topic's messages. There are plenty of other topics to choose from.

But then again, some BC members choose not to visit the BC Forum, and this is the only way we can gauge activity among members. If they post once or twice per week, they can easily get Active, or Somewhat Active at the very least. (Want to help? Think of a solution to the problem posed in this paragraph.)

I loved all three, so I have nothing against a person who does what he wants with his own creation, especially if he can earn respect and money from doing so.

Anyway, your best bet is to check the temporary internet files of people who have viewed the flash before. But even so, uploading someone else's work to NG is not proper means to justify the end.
