Ok this is good to know how people look at it, the thing is that the loop isn't the main part of the song. My own loops and some modified loops make up most of the song... I think maybe I see what I did wrong tho - I lead with the loop. I just thought people would listen further. Thanks for your answer and for your time, and for the link. I really appreciate it.
It seems that people like to leave a zero rating but no comments. Is that a common practice on this site? So far I got 2 votes of zero on my Song and the only reason I can think of is that the 1st 25 seconds of it uses a simple pre-made loop. Should I change my strategy and just bust right into a song at full speed instead of building into it for people with a short attention span?
I would hope that people could listen to more than 25 seconds before judging a song... I'm new to uploading to New Grounds and thought that I'd get a fair shake on my Song.
My question is - how many here have seen the same thing, is it the norm?
