I've seen the first two seasons, waiting for the third to start.

Response to: Need your Flash deleted? Posted May 1st, 2008 in General

I want a these four flashes removed. Does this trick still work? In any case, I am posting the links for good measure.

LOL, that movie was great. 5'd.

If I feel the submission will pass judgment, I give it a passing score because that is what the system awards.

Well, of course... Think how inconvenient it would be to not have furniture there.

Would anyone be interested... Posted January 20th, 2008 in Game Development

Would anyone be interested if I created a "3D Requests" thread? I'm thinking something along the lines of the sig makers thread where I try to do simple 3D stuff in flash for people. By simple, I mean things like 3D text and simple animations. Other things I could do involve physically realistic animations such as a brick wall breaking or a wall smashing inward. I can also do liquid, but the particles might look funny.

Any interest?

Don't mess with them. At the end, you could also put a "stop" event to stop the sound.

Sounds like a question for the Audio Forum maybe. Those guys are pretty knowledgeable about audio stuff.

Response to: Little problem with sounds Posted January 20th, 2008 in Where is / How to?

Honestly, I noticed no problems. What OS do you use? I know that with Vista, certain options in your sound settings can cause flash to lag when trying to play sound.

If the problem only occurs when starting to stream, then you can try putting a silent .wav file at the beginning of the flash and setting it to stream and loop. That way, the only time it starts to stream is at the very beginning. That technique has fixed misc. random problems for me in the past with streaming, so it might be worth trying.

the system is perfect

Actually, the system is imperfect if it is failing to meet its own purpose. By deleting responses that I want to stay, the system is not serving my interests as an flash artist. If the system is not serving my interests, then it is failing to meet its purpose.

Response to: Banned? Posted January 20th, 2008 in Where is / How to?

I think it means the topic is locked. I don't think you'd be able to post this topic were you banned.

Keep author responses Posted January 20th, 2008 in Where is / How to?

I think reviews should stay if the author has responded to them. Even though some reviewers are abusive, they give opinions that I want to respond to that are probably held by a significant portion of the viewers. It inhibits my ability to address viewpoints when half of my responses are routinely deleted.

Plus, it is annoying to write a five-paragraph response that gets deleted.

If the purpose of the review system is to serve authors, then it is self-defeating to delete reviews/responses that I would like to stay.

Response to: So (itt Ridiculous Circumstances) Posted January 20th, 2008 in General

I have no idea how I would react to that. I mean, you never know how you will react in a life-and-death situation until you experience it. However, I am guessing that I would react similar to this:

1) Grab shotgun, hunting rifle, and a few other badass guns (I own lots of guns and ammo).
2) Drive 8 blocks to Maricela's house (very attractive, nice girl I work with).
3) Hide outside and wait for zombies to attack her house.
4) Come in guns blazing, dispatch all of the zombies, thus saving her and her family's lives.
5) Use event to increase prospects of a future relationship with said girl.

The story was cliche and a bit silly, but it will probably appeal to a younger audience (I'm 23). However, I did enjoy the movie, especially the conflict between those princes. By the way, is it me or did the main actor star in some Heroes episodes?
