Anyone here use Calibre epub? Posted July 9th, 2011 in General

I was just wondering because i'm trying to create an epub from a cbc file but i keep running into a problem. I can epub individual cbr files but when i create the cbc for a series it keeps skipping the first cbr. I have the comics txt file as well but i seem to be doing something wrong.

Any suggestions?

That is a pretty great idea. Can't wait to see how all the photos turn out. That Blockhead mask as pimp.

I really really like this one. It looks good. All it needs is a little more background and you have yourself a finished piece.

I probably would have drawn her bottom jaw hanging like it was about to fall off. The rest of it is pretty good. I like how it looks hand drawn even though it's digital.

Here's one I did a very very long time ago. I have been thinking about seeing if I can't make it digital, maybe try illustrator and photoshop for color.

It's Moon Knight if you didn't know.

I just looked through the finished product thread, and there is some pretty great stuff in there. I still can't draw on my computer for crap, specially since my tablet went off and died on me. Now I have to buy a new one, might as well upgrade to a intuos

Also PLEASE DRAW ON THE STIFF WATERCOLOR PAPER and NOT on the folded creased cover sheet...

If you are drawing on a folded piece of plain paper used to wrap the art page then you are doing it wrong.

I got mine today. I'm out of work for the next week due to a back injury, so I think I might try to get mine done while I'm on light duty and resting. Gotta start brainstorming....

Still hoping I don't embarrass myself with a sub-par submission.

Good luck everyone.

Avoid curved lines as much as possible =X

I avoid all lines as much as possible. me and paint is kind of like fire and water, we don't work well together.

Response to: business Card tips Posted March 15th, 2009 in Art

move the game programmer/ designer/ enthusiast to the top, take out contact me and put your name right above your e-mail address, then make the text bigger. after you get it the way you want it, change the color schemes around a little to see what fits together the best. I changed it up for you but you still should think about changing the background up a little bit.

Response to: business Card tips Posted March 12th, 2009 in Art

The front of your card is catchy enough. work on amore simple back. try to align everything up a little better. use a graphic on the elft or right side of the card and align the text to the other side of the card. That will make your card a little more readable and pleasing to look at.

That's pretty good. I find it a lot easier to draw with a tablet as apposed to the mouse. I think with a little more practice you will be ble to do some really gret work.
