Response to: Capitalism doesn't work. Posted June 8th, 2006 in Politics

Of course Capitalism doesn't work. But please don't just bitch without giving an alternative. And if you say Communism I will slap you, so help me God.

But I agree, almost no system can work when you are talking about millions and possible over a billion people. The sheer numbers are bound to get in the way. It just isn't possible.

Don't ask for the prelude, but I am watching one of the Catholic Religion channels about half an hour ago.

It featured an Australian man and Kirk Cameron sitting it what looked like a Hobo Alley. Complete with a pit fire.

And they were talking about Satan and the Christian take on it. And they said it was as dangerous not believing in Satan as it was not believing in terrorists, and then if showed footage of the second plane crashing into the two towers.

Then of course to validate the sheer documentary righteousness of Kirk and the Aussie, they went to a bunch of heavy metal concerts, and found the druken insanse Marilyn Manson fans and tried to convert them in four minute interviews.

My question about this is all is: Who gives the kind of people a forum? MSNBC gave Fred Phelps and interview. ABC Family gives Pat Robison his show. They need to ship these MoFos back to Public Access where they belong, away from my beloved basic cable.

What insanely offending brainwashing-like show have you seen on TV? It doesn't have to be religious, it just tend to be religion. Funny how that works.

Response to: Water as an alternative fuel. Posted June 8th, 2006 in Politics

This isn't 'can we make alternative fuels' anymore, is it going to be an easily appliable cost effects enviormentally and realistically possible thing.

If it would require new engines in cars to run the alternative fuel, the changes would be costly for bussiness is various aspects, and therefor costly for the consumer.

Not to mention the cost. Hybrids for example, are not the cheapest cars. You can't expect the average American to jump right out and by an expensive car because it's envirormentally friendly.

It is a needed change, but it's going to be bump and complicated. I just hope to see the day I won't be paying C notes for gas.

I don't know what a good alternative is, but it would be better than basically making everyone aware, making sure they can't live anywhere but a few places, and then screw their lifes of even after they are freed from the legal system.

Response to: Reparations Posted June 7th, 2006 in Politics

First of all, I would like to point out that if you want your race to be consider equal and the same as all the others, don't seperate yourself from them and ask for money.

Second of all, AMERICAN black people today have no suffered the injustice of slavery, so why are we paying them? The truth is unless you YOURself have been wronged- reperations may be in order. Like the American Japanese containment camps during WWII, survivors should be payed for damages. Not the great great grandchildren of a slave.

You are right. It is the religions with more of a heirchy that is the problem. Like Catholics. Because the Church has specifically ordered the killing or capture of masses of people before. I can't really think of a better example, if there is one let me know.

Who should we hate/slaughter next? Posted June 7th, 2006 in Politics

Let's see. I think we've covered black people, Jewish people, Japanese people, Indian People, Gay people. Those are the prominent I can think of, though I sure there are a lot more that can come to mind.

The question is, who is left to hate? Any ideas? Maybe we should go in a cycle and start all over again. Starting with Pagans. They were slaughtered pretty early in history...

Response to: Uk/usa/ca Posted June 6th, 2006 in Politics

I've seen political debates in the UK. The people who talk literally ATTACKed Tony Blair, and called him out on a lot of things he did wrong, gave it too him.

And at the same time, in America, some old lady was standing up and telling President Bush how glad she was he was their president.

In contrast, the UK is more critical of their government, and the politicians are forced to really defend their political ideas, while in America you get you backside kissed for just being.

England really has a more stable government I guess, in comparison to United States.

Haha, that made me laugh. I guess the Church got around that by not considering slaughtering opposing religions and people who practice witchcraft a war. After all, most of those people opposing the Church didn't stand a chance anyway. A tyrant on the uprising.

Good thing now adays Catholics and Christianity has little competetion in Western civilization.

Response to: Abolish religions! Posted June 6th, 2006 in Politics

Why don't people just give up their religion?

You think it's bad now with a couple little bloody holy wars happening on occasion? Try not having an organised religion telling you to be a good person or you will suffer damnation. WIth no faith or fear of biblical consequence all the crazy religious fanatics would turn into just plain crazy people. And without the guidelines of a faith to guide them, they would most likely be dangerous. You just can't yank thousands of years of belief that is deeply seeded into everything from are government foundations, to our entertainment out from under us.

Plus, you have to deal with that whole 'basis of your goverment and foundations of the very country you exist in' if you live in America and quite a few other countries.

Yeah, it's kind of a 'rebel agianst authority' only in this case the authorities are rebeling against another authority. Or something like that.

Although we are falling behind in Super-Powerdom.

If you want to base ligitmacy on when it was published, then Chrisianty is the wrong way to go. I don't know much about history but I know there were lots of organised religions before Christians came along.

Response to: The Satanic Bible Posted May 29th, 2006 in General

Scientology is a celebrity religion. A few years back famous people decided that they had run out of ways to become more egotisical, thus celebrity religions were born. This one failed becuase they chose Tom Cruise as a media figure head. That is a PR mistake right there. Oprah-killing crazy man.

I hope you don't have basic cable then. There are a couple stations, one being the Catholic religion channel. And for about twelve hours out of the day it is nothing but brain-washing like cartoons. Included one that is more humourous than religion, Bibleman. It's kind of a blunt: Hey! Tell your children what to think, before they can do it themselves!

Evolution (Fact/Theory) Posted May 29th, 2006 in Politics

Whenever evolution comes back into the spotlight for one reason or another, I always see evolution associated with Darwinism. And whenever I ask people about it, they always say evolution is where man evolved from apes.

There is a difference between the Theory of Evolution, and evolution itself. Evolution has been proven and is accepted as fact. The theory of evolution (Origin of Species, to be specific) was written as a way of explaining the proccess of evolution. So associating evolution with Darwin is like associating vegitarians with Pamela Anderson.

Yes, this is my first board, if you couldn't tell.

It's always one group of people or the next. The general public has to hate somebody. American Indians, blacks, Irish, or gays. I doubt there has been one time in the history of the United States that at least one group wasn't being oppressed. In maybe anywhere from ten to two hundred and fifty years, homosexuality will become integrated more and more into society and the ignorant majority will find a new group to hate.

Necrophiliacs, might I suggest?

Response to: Debt Cancellation Posted May 29th, 2006 in Politics

I don't think we should cancel debts because that is giving them the impression they can get free rides on more developed countries, plus quite a few of the richer countries have debts of their own they need to worry about on top of that.
