Personally, I never liked muffins. A world devoid of muffins wouldn't bother me very much. Also, there would be less fat fucks using up all the healthcare dollars with their diabetes and other issues.

Texas Jailers Ran A Rape Camp Posted June 17th, 2013 in General

http://www.courthousenews.com/2013/06/17/58555.htm - If true, this shit is pretty sick. Apparently a group of 3 jailers ran a rape camp at a Women's Jail in Corpus Christi, Texas. They forced the inmates to perform sexual acts on each other and the jailers. Here is a quote from the article:

"In order to facilitate their carnal impulses, these guards would withhold food and water, engage in physical abuse, restrict privileges and verbally and emotionally abuse the women - even threaten to kill them in order to compel their compliance."

They are being sued by two former inmates. It's a really disturbing read. I hope these jailers get life in prison or some worse punishment if they are guilty.

Anyone surprised by this development or angry? I've gotten to the point where I just expect Congress to do the wrong thing most of the time. You don't get a 10% approval rating by doing the right thing after all: http://www.gallup.com/poll/152528/congress-job-approval-new-

And yes, my comment about the 'future being online' is true. When I read that 'omg kids are spending all their time online' I think, businesses are migrating online, retailers are moving online. The time I spent online writing on forums as a teenager actually allowed me to build up valuable, work-related skills that I now use to make good money in a relaxed fashion.

The only thing about working from home is that it is lonely when my sexy blonde 20-something girlfriend is out working at her job, but internet forums and social media provide the illusion of company. But kids who are spending 'all their time online' shouldn't be concerned - your future employment will probably require you to spend 8 hours online 5 days a week anyway.

Yeah, there's the thing that stuck out at me about that post

"All this good news will probably fall through in the near future but I thought I'd show off while I have the chance."

So you're doing temp work for a living wage and how many years have you been out of school? I remember during college making that much money doing part time work as a cabby. Average salaries may be a bit less in the UK though, and a living wage is not a very high bar to meet. That being said, I think I believe your statement, since the more I look at it the more pathetic it looks. Do SEO work and make an ok wage when you can find the work. That is a pretty depressing development. Then again it is better then no work at all.

I could tell you that I make more then you do per hour, but you have no more reason to believe me then I have to believe you. Anyway, I think we've lost track of where this post began. That excessive internet use can lead to all sorts of issues. Almost no one has even touched that with a 10 foot pole, not that I expected a different reaction.

But I speak as an adult who earns more than a living wage through web content and SEO, which are all online. And you presumably reply as a child who doesn't know anything about anything.

Because that is a completely logical conclusion....See, I above that you have over 30,000 posts on this forum. It follows that in order to accumulate that many posts that you had to spend a lot of time online, at this website. It is also likely that in that period of time you spend plenty of time on other websites as well. Of course you don't spend "all your time online". That was a facetious remark, but based on a reasonable observation.

As far as your conclusion about yourself I have nothing to go on with that. You could easily be lying and have not provided me with any evidence to believe you. You also don't have enough information to make any real conclusion about me. You don't really expect me to take that reply seriously?

Dude almost everyone is stupid in some way, shape, or form.
At least some people can admit it....

It of course depends on how you define stupid. Of course we have a different definition, thus the confusion. Even brilliant people do some stupid things, but if a substantial amount of the decisions you make lead to ignorant results then you are stupid. Anything above 30%. I could spend all day telling you what I mean specifically, and we could argue for a week, or I could use the overly general dictionary definition, which is pretty much worthless.

Anyway, most people view stupidity in terms of frequency. We may vary on where we draw the line, but that is the commonly held view. The best we can do in terms of that specific idea in the English language. To say that I must have done at least a few stupid things in my life (which is true) and then say that one bad decision makes me stupid is about as pointless as saying that one good decision makes me smart.

If you want to nitpick that is up to you, of course. It seems like a popular pastime around here, for people that want to pump of their egos, but about as useful as being a grammar nazi on a forum.

By frequent posters I mean people with thousands of posts. Unfortunately, you don't qualify.
Thousands of posts often translates to street cred with us. This, on top of the fact that you signed up yesterday, prevents anyone from taking you seriously.

You really think I expect most people to take my advice straight out? Of course I don't. The people I'm targeted are most likely to just deny they have a problem. If I had "street cred" it would follow that I also have the same problem that I am describing, which would make me a gigantic hypocrite.

Anyway, if one person takes this post seriously and looks inward to admit they have a problem that would be well worth it. If everyone else chooses to mock me in this post that is fine with me. It's pretty much what I expected, anyway.

Advice for Frequent Forum Posters? Posted April 25th, 2013 in General

This is what I have to say.

I say don't commit suicide: http://gizmodo.com/5911012/internet-use-linked-to-depression -says-study . Even if your life seems pretty crappy and you don't feel like living that is the time to keep pushing yourself into the world. Retreating to the internet is the wrong move.

I say get outside and move. Your life is important and you only have one life to live. Dying young from weight related illness will lessen the quality and quantity of your life: http://www.asiaone.com/Health/News/Story/A1Story20080801-800 19.html . Enjoy exercise and engage with your life.

I say calm down. Violence is bad for everyone. You don't want to hurt other people: http://www.reuters.com/article/2008/11/05/us-surfing-violent -idUSTRE4A38H320081105 It is bad for you and bad for society. It could land you in jail or worse. Find constructive ways to let off some steam.
