The movie's already killing the series as is, and now a game for the movie?

Response to: What have you learned from Zelda? Posted January 19th, 2009 in Video Games

I've learned that even though I can pick up pots and throw them around everywhere, I can just walk out of the room and back in, and the pots will come back!

Response to: Most Bad-ass Vg Character Posted January 19th, 2009 in Video Games

Toad. He'd kill Duke Nukem any day with his "srry, bro but ur princess iz in anudder cazl lololol." speeches. I am serious.

Response to: "You Have to Burn the Rope" Posted January 19th, 2009 in Video Games

That was a really good game. Still, it's kinda hard to not follow instructions, you know? They're right there as you go along the screen. Kinda short, though, and the daggers serve no purpose whatsoever.

Response to: Dead Rising (thoughts on port) Posted January 19th, 2009 in Video Games

I think it will make at least some money out of this port. You gotta remember; Capcom's sorta going downhill now. It'd be the sort of game that becomes super-special-awesome popular for a few months but then drowns out. Dead Rising for Wii has some potential. I mean, swing the Wii remote to hack and slash through zombies. Turn the remote sideways and swerve it around to steer vehicles. Man, it'd be kinda cool!

Response to: Christian Game Reviews. Posted January 15th, 2009 in Video Games

There are cases in which people do negatively review games, but some of these review have gone too far.

I mean, Tetris = unholy? Teaching kids bad things? Come on!

I wonder if there are any ROMS of Worms 3D for the PS2 or GameCube Emulator...

Response to: tell me a few Nintendo Wii games... Posted January 13th, 2009 in Video Games

Wii is best for its family-friendly games. The best games to get are:

-Animal Crossing: City Folk
-Super Smash Brothers Brawl (Action Game: not necessarily advised for 5-6 year olds and younger)
-Wii Sports (lol it comes with it)
-Wii Play
-Rayman Raving Rabbids (not advisable for little kids)

Response to: Video game character for president? Posted January 13th, 2009 in Video Games

Princess Zelda

-She's not some dumb blonde like Princess Peach.
-Her wise judgement will bring safety and security to the land.
-With the help of Navi, she can get facts out of people in detainment with Navi's "Hey, listen!"
-Hell, she's got Link! Four of them, in fact!

Polygon Flash? Posted January 10th, 2009 in Game Development

Earlier today, I saw these two submissions by Will Stamper and Jeff Bandelin.

I've seen reviews saying things very close to "omg no originality lolol jump off a cliff u hav no friends"

I'd say it is quite original. I mean, who on Newgrounds has done flashes with such wonderfully scriped polygons?

Anyway, to my point: Is this some kind of inside joke going on between the Newgrounds staff?

Response to: Sonic in brawl.. Posted January 8th, 2009 in Video Games

He's not "ownage" nor is he "cheap." He's just flat-out bad his attacks are impossible to control and he's only good for screenshots of him flying up to look under Peach's dress.

Do you know how to weld? You can use the parts to make some sick model of something or whatever! If not, you can always use the shell and insert a motherboard, hard drive, and re-use the disc drive (if possible) and make a PC 360! Ya never know?

Response to: 2008 Bbs Video Game Awards: Results Posted January 6th, 2009 in Video Games

There's no doubt about Blaze-Heatnix winning the award for being most knowledgable about video games. I mean, he posts in every other VG message board! I'd have to dissagree about the Wii being the worst console. It just isn't the best for hardcore gaming. For family fun, Wii's good.

Response to: Relive Classic Video Games Posted January 3rd, 2009 in Video Games

Street Fighter I

The first Street Fighter game in the franchise. I remember how there were arcade machine versions of these scattered around everywhere, but they were few and far between. It was tough to make any special moves or combos; the 'Hadouken' wasn't just circling the stick and then pressing the punch button; it was much more.

Runescape. Terrible gameplay, stupid quests, low framerate, and crappy graphics.

Capcom Thoughts? Posted December 25th, 2008 in Video Games

I think Capcom's gone desperate. I'm talking mostly about Capcom Japan. Their studios have shrunken down from nine studios to three studios. Their publishing really cheesy games from third-party companies. For example, they have recently published a Neopets game.

Your thoughts on Capcom?

Okami Comparison Posted December 25th, 2008 in Video Games

Okay, Tankmen, tell me what you think:

I just recently got Okami for the Wii, a while back, I got a copy for the PS2. I haven't played either one yet, so I need your opinion one one thing: Which one should I start on first?

Please put your opinion on which one you like, why you like it, what you think of the gameplay, and tell me if there's something special that divides the two versions.

Ready? Go!!

Response to: Sonic: Night of the Werehog Posted December 24th, 2008 in Video Games

Whoa, crap! That was the greatest Sega movie I have ever seen! I like it how the characters just use brief noises to depict their feelings, instead of voices, which makes it easier for the whole world to understand the story! It also makes it easier for American lip-synching!

Response to: Xbox 360 copied the PlayStation 3. Posted December 24th, 2008 in Video Games

You've gotta be sh**ng me...seriously? You call that undeniable proof?!?! It's a comic that's been poorly drawn in MS Paint! Besides, the 360 came clear before the PS3. Whoever thinks this proof is concrete needs to get a life...and friends...

Response to: We all played Pokemon as kids. Posted December 24th, 2008 in Video Games

Come on, what's wrong with adults playing Pokémon! It's not that bad! Adults play DDR, Mario Party, and My Little Pony (I hope not)! The Pokémon games are very brain-intensive and require a lot of strategy, especially Ranger. So, let all the adults have some of the fun that they never experienced before: Pokémon!

Response to: best mario party game Posted December 24th, 2008 in Video Games

Mario Party 5. This game grabbed me like no other Mario Party, not even MP 6, which introduced a microphone feature. The minigames were very simple and creative, and I think Nintendo really did a good job on this one. I believe that 5 is the peak of all the MP games, then it goes down after that. 8 is kinda a letdown. Not necessarily boring, but cheesy.

You could get Reaper. There's a tutorial on how to use it here, made by Rig.

Like I said, I'm dirt poor (not really, but I'm a penny pincher), and I want something that's free. I just want a nice audio editor and mixer. Nothing fancy.
