Name one?

Well, it's not really 12 strings. It's 20 but the same thing, really. Oh and also the mandolin is basically an acoustic guitar anyway.

I'm inclined to say the Guitar or Bass Guitar as I play them both, but really I prefer Organ, Piano, Keyboard and Electric Piano/Organ. Mostly because they can be found in every type of music Rock, like Wolfmother's 'Mind's Eye' and Deep Purple's 'Highway Star' both feature an Organ solo. Iron Butterfly made a huge contribution to heavy metal with 'Ina-Gadda-Da-Vidda' which featured a 2 Minute Keyboard Solo. 'Jump' By Van Halen has an extensive Keyboard piece. But not only that, the Piano is like the grandfather of rock music. Before electric guitars, R&B music as well as Soul and The Blues featured big band orchestras more often than not led by the singer on Piano. A good case of this is Ray Charles who is often attributed with setting the tone of rock and roll. Jazz once relied on piano to set the beat, and a more upbeat and fast paced tone than in other genres which can be traced into Hip Hop.

So if you really think about it, the Piano and it's variations are really everyones favorite instrument in one way or another.

Spoilers about the Call Of Duty 4 Campaign here, it will ruin it so i you haven't beat campaign dont read on!

Call of duty 4, The last Marine mission when you pull the pilot out of the crashed Cobra and get her back to the Osprey or what ever and the nuke lands in the city.

I was literally in shock that the game ended that way. But, I was equally shocked when the Russians launch nukes on America's East coast killing 41 Million People... It was crazy.

My Filipeno friend said it sounded rich and articulate, but only when we were using big words. And, slightly racist, he said that when a Black male or a white guy trying to be black spoke it, it sounded like a slur or worthless shit.

Response to: Fuck You Parents! Posted November 5th, 2007 in General

My parents think I hate them... But only because they wont talk to me to get to understand what Im feeling. So every time we sit down to talk about something it's "We know you hate us, but..." Well I'm really starting to hate them for that because instead of taking 10 minutes to talk about it with me they just assume I hate them and wont give me the time of day.

Another thing that irritates me is that they don't want me to make the same mistakes they made as kids. Which I can understand is a major thing to any parents, but thats how you learn. It's not like I've lived a sheltered life but my parents have always been careful to prevent me from having any fun. They wont let me go out after 10, wont let me talk on the phone after 8 and a lot of other stuff, it's just too strict.

I dont like the picture of the bass, you cant see the color that well... It's like the gray version of a Chery Sunburst. Like Paige's Las Paul.

Response to: Who exactly won the Vietnam war? Posted November 3rd, 2007 in General

Australia, technically.

But... basically the Vietcong. They forced the US out, ending the "war" but not the Australian occupation.
It began with the Vietcong invading the (then) Australian territory of South Vietnam. Australia didnt do much but instead asked for several countries help as North Vietnam was getting weapons, tanks and planes (Mig19s) from Russia and China. The US was the only country that really helped Australia, we thought it was going to be an in and out sort of thing, so our men didn't go through any form of training. It was also the main combat test for the new M16. The M16 proved a good weapon, but if not properly cleaned useless. So the Marines reverted back to the M14 a much more reliable weapon... The Vietcong on the other hand had the Ak-47, which you can pretty much Bury in mud and get it out 3 days later and fire right away.

The Vietcong adopted a style of hit and run, the large squad based movement of the US Army could not keep up with the two man teams of Vietcong rebels who could easily hide in the jungle and pick the US squads off.

Eventually the Vietcong saw no use in South Vietnam and slowly stopped all attacks (Except for the occasional skirmish with border guards) and Australia moved back into South Vietnam.

Hope that helped.

yeah, actually there's a few. Maybe not on Newgrounds, but I can think of some where you upgrade your men from like clubs and stones to swords and Bows and whatnot. Also, it's very similar to the civilization series, just side scrolling.

I got it tuned so low, the highest note still sounds like the intro to smoke on the water.

And damn straight it's a nice bass, all I need to do is get a new tuning key (like $20) and I'm set.

Already ahead of you. Im trying to get his new bass from him with Guitar hero 3. He didnt even have a guitar hero game he just wanted the controller.

Good trade? Or what. Posted November 3rd, 2007 in General

Two days ago, my stoner friend David got a new bass and was gonna sell his old one. Joking, I said "I'll trade you a guitar hero controller for your old bass" But he said yes (he was stoned) so I got this crazy ass bass, missing a tuning key and has a loose knob but otherwise good...

So basically I traded This... for This. Good deal, or what?
