No worries mate! I'm glad I could help. A few final tips, but you wont need to know these for a few months.
- Once your plants are about 1-2 months old and have grown about 50cm (20in?), head down to your local hydro or garden center and pick up some cloning solution. You can take trimmings from your plants, and plant them in other smaller pots after dipping them in this solution. This is useful for obtaining yourself a bigger crop, or determining the sex of the plants.
- Determining the sex of the plant can be easy.. IF you have a pro-ass hydro setup. My guess for growing outdoor would be to take a single clone from each plant. Once these clones start to develop healthy, limit them to 12hrs of sunlight a day, and try to keep them a little cooler than the originals. This should hopefully mimic the cooler, shorter days of autumn/fall (flowering stage). Don't 100% count me on this, I've never personally tried it, but it seems the most logical way to attempt it outdoors.
- If one of your babies somehow turns out male, remove it IMMEDIATELY! . The males will try to pollinate the females. This causes the females to stop producing THC and start becoming seed set. This means you'll end up with dirt weed thats filled with seeds.
