I don't think historical accuracy was the point of making Meet the Spartans. It was more like all the writers had a meeting and asked eachother what they could do to guarantee that they made the most horrible movie possible.

yeah i agree

Yes, well having Hillary as VP would be a death sentence for the Democrats. Would not be good either way, I'm still guessing it will be Jim Webb.

webb would be a good choice...did you hear that after 40 hrs obamas guy to help choose the VP was fired?

im out for a few hours guys i have a big storm coming in, fast

He could always take bill! :P

You're right... Obama is going to have a tough time, Hillary's followers strongly beleive that Obama, the DNC, and the media betrayed the clinton legacy; they're colaborators to an unforgivable scheme that can only be punished by voting against Obama.

Bill would be better than hillary if it came down to the two of them...maybe we should all vote for Ron Paul..he hasent given up yet..LOL

another random thought...do you think hillary would have chose bill as VP if she got the nomination? i would be embarrassed to be the first "First Man"

Kennedy's legacy of domestic policy would also be nothing like Obama's... The only program i know of that Kennedy began was research of space exploration... Obama has BIG spending plans for this country, spending that even with tax hikes we cannot afford; soon they're won't be enough money to tax at all. If Obama is so pragmatic he should know that the US dollar is in the tank unless we start giving power back to the people. Mccain unfortunately is only slightly better, but i see Obama as more of a Jimmy Carter than a Kennedy; A Newcomer of hope.

yeah..even though obama is trying to follow Kennedy's footsteps...hes farther away than he realizes

my question is simply this:
if atheists are strong willed and independent, why do they fall back upon some form of religion when death or disaster strikes?

i'm not dissing them, but it was always something that intrigued me and really speaks volumes about the frailty of mankind. anyone care to discuss?

do you have any proof of this? i doubt it...we dont fall back on religion when someone dies..we accept they are gone and move on...it is rare for an atheist to convert back like that...hell it uncommon for any atheist to convert if he was truely an atheist
