I'm part of the 4.1%, baby!

I can understand why there aren't that many female users, too: There's rarely an opportunity lost for a guy to be sexually demeaning around here. Also, I'm not sure how many women have the desire to actively search for and weed out garbage and/or pervo submissions from the portal on a daily basis.

Something I forgot to mention: If you want to PM me for my help, make sure you include "Ananas Collab" somewhere in the subject title.

I'd have a discussion about ideas too, but right now I'm kinda busy with updating comics 'n stuff.

Sorry, I wish I could participate in the collab, because I KNOW French, and our class watch Telefrancais every Friday. Sadly, I don't speak a lick of flash, so I guess I'll have to come back when I've got experience.

You can be a translator. Have someone send you their script, you provide text translation and a voice file as a pronunciation guide (but not for acting purposes).

---
As much as I would like to make a part for this, I can't. I've got too much on my plate right now to get into the whole business of writing/rewriting scripts, finding sound effects, selecting VAs, and the repetitive use of ctrl+Z while trying to get that little bit of animation juuuuust right.

HOWEVER, I am willing to offer animation assistance to people who need it. I can only do a little bit at a time for one person at a time, though. PM me if you need some help, and I'll fill in the details.

No it wouldn't, dork.

DBZ all the way!

I like how NG does collabs depending on what's hot.

THE LIVE ACTION MOVIE COMES OUT THIS YEAR

THEY SHOULD DO IT

...Meh.
I would prefer a Trick r Treat collab, but that would have to wait until October. :3

That thing below your message is really offensive to me.

There's tons of offensive stuff on Newgrounds. Any kind of fuss you make will just bring on more harassment.

Gee... why am I posting here again?
Oh yeah. I tried making a submission for this thing, but it was the beginning of February when I thought of a good idea and acted on it.
Meh.
Maybe I'll finish it, maybe I won't. Depends on how much more of my time I want to waste.

-finally get married
-finish up old animation projects
-go to at least one convention
-cross off at least half of the things on my courage list

It would be just awesome, if you'll make one like that..... If I saw something like that for sale, I would buy it.

2 main reasons why I wouldn't make one:

1, Finding a job and getting my current projects done has higher priority than painting miniatures
2, There is NO WAY I'm going shopping for a little pink condom to put on a miniature bear. Oh, the confused looks I would get...

Also, am I the only one who thinks of a medieval theme when listening to the CTSG2 song? Not that it's any of my business...

Topic: Macbook superiority - ...really?

Posted: 09/30/08 04:29 AM

Forum: Flash

Well, I don't have a macbook, but an iMac (nicknamed "Monolith") which was given to me by well-off relatives. It was purchased at macconnection.com, which is a decent site that sells mac products at lower prices than the Apple store, and they give you freebies with your computer purchase. Just make sure to fill out and send in the rebates though.

I'm pretty sure that whether it's a Mac or PC that you purchase, it'll still be a clean slate for you to start on and thus will be much much better than your old computer. Just try to do as much research as you can and, if possible, test out any models you're interested in.

In short, if you want to stick with what you're familiar with, then go with PC. If you feel like you need some Mac experience, then make the switch.

Well, this is the second time for me to not only be in a collab, but for the collab to have my artwork for the icon and to have it on the front page. ^-^ It is a good feeling indeed.

Despite the success however, I'm gonna have to refuse participation in anymore collabs until I can get some solo projects up. Plus if I were to join the 2nd CTSG collab, I'd end up bogging down the progress time again. :( ...I'll only make an exception in a DIRE EMERGENCY, though. :)

So here's to you, collabers! Good skills on the next one!

I was the quiet nerd who went through friends like toilet paper. :(

Anyway, thought I'd let you guys know that my sweetie and I are going to visit his family out-of-state for the upcoming week from the 12th to the 21st. Since they're on the east coast, the hurricanes have been messing things up and their basement got flooded... which is where the computer was. :X So I might or might not have access to the internet, but more likely not.

I'll be online tonight and maybe tomorrow morning, and then the computers will be packed up and transported to storage for safe keeping. So if you guys need anything else from me for the collab, say so ASAP.

Well, I sent the link to my part to Whirl.
I'm hoping that for CTSG2 there will be fewer people involved, like just 6 really good animators with reliable response times who can do 3 parts apiece.
And maybe I'm hoping for too much.

Egh. Being a corporate shill for a company that promotes vanity doesn't sit well with me.
However, the monetary prize sure is tempting, especially with Sallie Mae lurking over my shoulder.

I understand that the ad has to be 30 seconds long, but is there a filesize limit?

Since there's only...*looks at calendar* 11 days left until the deadline, would it be advisable to work with a group to get it done on time?

Man. 4th of July weekend filled my stomach with lots of yummy fatty foods and drained a lot of energy via cooking, driving, and cleaning a never-ending supply of dirty dishes. Now that I've had time to recover with a lazy day, and an errands day, I'm trying to shat out those pesky last items on my to-do list. Namely, animating the one guy's body movements and face, and figuring out what the heck I'm gonna do for the ending.

Let's hope this link works...

Oh yeah, and the drawing program of choice is Alias Sketchbook Pro.

So Fox expects a website where every user acts like an immature asshat at least once during their life to be classy, publicly acceptable, and refined? Besides, religious TV channels are creepier than that.

I find it funny that the "child" always finds out about this stuff long before the parents do.
Also, am I the only one who's reminded of the voodoo doll bit from Creepshow?

Apparently, both parts took roughly 2 months (each) to complete. O_o; So I guess that's 3 weeks of goofing off/daily grind for every week of animation.
