This clip shows two black guy getting discriminated from getting into 5 out of 6 clubs in Calgary based on the colour of their skin.

What was really bad was when the cop stopped the guys from getting into one club. I would file charges against that cop and get him fired.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by this- anyone who is an ethnic minority knows what this is like.

I don't want to hear all this 'but black guys do this' or 'white guys do this' bullshit. It's just plain wrong. We don't need to blame anyone- just make sure this kind of discrimination doesn't happen again.

Kerry's statement was offensive because it was callous not because there was no truth to it.

It was insensitive. How many people actually get to college in the US? Certainly not the majority. And thus, way to insult the majority of voters. And his statement inferred that going to Iraq would be punishment. A punishment for not being good enough for and punishment for being poor.

No one is going to say going to Iraq is a reward but certainly don't shit on the efforts of those who are already there.

Regardless of whether or not this has anything to do with the current 'electoral' issues, you have to remember voters are generally swayed by emotional responses. Most people aren't aware of all of the subtlties of politics and what those in government do everyday.

Bush is a very unattractive political figure on many levels yet somehow he gets the 'vote'.
