I haven't been on Newgrounds in a long time so I came back and I saw this game is scheduled to be released soon. Will it be on the PS2 or only on Xbox live arcade ?
I have this friend who wants to learn programming by making some kind of platform game, be he doesn't know if he should use C++ or just use flash, so I'd appreciate if someone knowledgeable in that domain could give the me the main pros and cons of both methods.

I was gonna get Awake (Dream Theater)

Ever.
I personally like 6:00 the best, but they all kick progressive arse. Tell me your favourite when you get the album.
I heard many good comments on this album, so, a while ago, I decided to buy it. In my opinion, Scenes from a Memory is much better. There are like, only 3 songs that I enjoy on Awake.

Live albums help people judge a bands live performance sometimes. Espescially with bands like Mercyful Fate and say Blind Guardian. When they make their albums they do special effects like echoing and such. Some songs sound totally different live because of it like Curse of the Pharaohs, and then I guess its up to you to decide whether you like it live or not but for me, more times then not a live song just feels different then the over produced album version and I usually end up loving both versions of the same song.
Exactly. In fact, I like buying live albums of band I already know quite well, because it gives me an occasion to hear somewhat different versions of songs I already like + getting to listen to some unreleased songs in studio.

Me ist going into town tomorrow (Snakes on a Plane XD), and I'm planning on getting a Blind Guardian album.... but which should I get?
If you want to buy a Blind Guardian album, I suggest their live one. It's pretty solid, and gives you a general overview of what they have to offer.
First of all, I'd like to know if someone could tell me some kind of program I could download that would allow me to cut a MP3, so that I could burn only a part of a song on a CD.
Secondly, I'd greatly appreciate if someone could tell me if, somewhere in the audio portal, there was a song that could sound like a children song, but with a dark and nightmare-ish feeling to it.
Hey there. I've been wandering the audio portal searching for some kind of song that could fit in a 19th century Russia atmosphere. but I had no luck. If anyone think they know some kind of song that would maybe fit, it would greatly help me.
