I'm having major problems getting ColdReaver's part 37 in. I tried putting other parts in and they worked fine. I deleted all the PNGs and tried putting the part in and that worked. All the PNGs being placed into the final .fla are too much for shit Flash CS4 to handle.

ColdReaver, you reckon you can use vector art to make your backgrounds in that part?

He was a good animator and contributor to Newgrounds, I'm sure. But, let's be honest, no disrespect intended to the dead, but he died from a heroin overdose. I don't care how good an artist he was, we should not be treating him like a hero.

My condolences to his family. I am sorry for his death, but I still cannot treat him as a hero.

Flash CS4 is the biggest piece of shit I have ever experienced. I've been trying forever to put one of ColdReaver's parts in and it keeps crashing. I'll find a way but I just want to rant on how shit it is and how much it keeps crashing compared to CS3 and Flash 8.

One of my best friends didn't like it much because he's into mainstream style music. So, who gives a crap!

I reckon this will turn out better than HAND... the only reason why it couldn't do so well is because the song is nowhere near as catchy and mainstream as HAND, but the animation will make up for it.

I disagree with this. Why? It will end up being a large file, 15-25 MB, and not everyone has fast internet. People do other things while Flash animations load. I don't want anyone to miss out on anything so a play button will stay.

Ok, actually, here is when it goes wrong. When I add a keyframe, it works fine. It's only when I duplicate a keyframe I cannot change the filter properties of the MC.

So I'm finding it hard to get used to the changes in Flash CS4. One of them being... I cannot simply change the properties of a filter in a tween.

Here's what happens, I tween an MC. On the first keyframe I add on the tween, I can change the filter properties no problem. When I add another keyframe and change the filter properties, it doesn't register it. I cannot change the filter properties on this keyframe.

What am I doing wrong here?

It depends what your style is. That looks very good but so does a different style with a bit of blur. I can be a bit of a visual-effect enthusiast at times so I like a bit of blur on these things so I would probably blur out the rain a bit if I can get away with no lag.

Because this is a collab, all animation styles are welcome (obviously)... except shit ones. So just do what you want as long as it looks good.

Looking good. I think you should just put the video in the .fla then send me that file. That way you're happy with the size. If you let me do it, you'll be thinking "hmm... I would have preferred it if ShortMonkey made it a little bigger/smaller". Trust me, it's better if you size it to your preference.
