Wow, pretty good - but I think you should make it fire constantly when you hold down space, instead of having to hammer down SPACE SPACE SPACE SPACE to fire.

The movement is a bit too slippery as well. Slippery is fine for that type of game, but perhaps you should alter it to be slightly less so..

Hello, good to be posting here again, how are you all, etc...

I want to learn Actionscript 3, because people say it's much faster than AS2, and I know hardly any AS2 anyway so I might as well start off fresh.

Could someone please link me to a decent "AS3 from the start" guide, or somewhere where I can find various tutorials?
It's daunting for me at the moment, I don't even know how to program buttons. I need to start with the VERY BASICS, and work up to the top.

Also, is Actionscript 3 really better than AS2? Is it harder than AS2? (For a person with barely any AS2 knowledge in the first place).

It's because I can't even find a tutorial on the most basic code in AS3.
All the AS3 tutorials out there (not many) are focused on people that already have an intermediate knowledge of programming.

Let's take a look at the description of The Last Stand, shall we?
Survive the night fighting off zombies from your barricade.Survive longer than a day by making use of the daylight hours effectively by:

- Repairing your barricade
- Searching for weapons
- Looking for other survivors to help repair, search and defend the barricade.

To me, this seems like a big rip-off.

Also, it has turrets. Wow. Another great original idea that completely seperates it from TLS.
