I'm looking for an adjective! 10 points, begins with the letter "I," and is a characteristic of pitch.

Anyway, perhaps instead of making a cheesy cover of an already cheesy song, how about you download the demo of a Digital Audio Workstation and/or buy a cheap electronic keyboard and compose some original music and submit it to the portal?

We have enough T-Pain impersonators on SliceThePie.com.

P.S. the answer was "In-tune"

Because the entire point is to make people think of the original song. A familiar tune that has lyrics that cater to a specific audience. I COULD write a new song... but that would be counter-productive in terms of what I'm aiming to produce.

Looking For Autotuner Posted July 24th, 2009 in Audio

Hey all,

I'm makin' a parody of one of my favorite songs. But in order to do it right, I need an autotuner. You know, one of those things that makes your voice all.... um... I dunno, like T-Pain.

Here's the catch: I need one that is either free or very cheap, I have a budget here =P

I actually got a new computer because of WAR. My old one was good enough for WoW, but I had been thinking of upgrading for a little while and this was the last push I needed.

Response to: Wow Vs War Posted October 26th, 2008 in Video Games

Lol ja, man, I played Prot warr. he was my 70 =D

But the game not seeming alive? hmm... I guess the animations do leave something to be desired. However, this is not a game as fantastical as, say, WoW. WoW, while being a game about fighting, leveling up, etc, is still a highly fantastic game. WAR is more... well, war-like. It has aspects of fantasy in it, but is not as amazingly imaginative as WoW. Things are going to be harsher, cruder, and more realistic, really. It lacks that brightness that WoW and other games bring to the table to be sure. But the environment, in my opinion, really reflects a war-torn world with magical forces. It's not "Kawaii (cute)" anime, it's battle, and battle is harsh.

Oh, info. I play a bright wizard. I LOVE MAKING THINGS GO BOOM!!!

Wow Vs War Posted October 26th, 2008 in Video Games

Over the past three years, many people have been quivering in their seats for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Now the game is out, and the users are rolling in.

Many people have made the switch from WoW to WAR. Many of my friends left WOW while I played over the summer as a way to detatch themselves so that they would be more likely to fully commit to WAR. I personally have made the switch, making a last-minute decision (I even went to my gaming store and switched my hold on Wrath of the Lich King to WAR) that I do not regret

Okay, now I know this is a tough question considering that the game has only been out for about a month and a half, but let's consider it. For those of you who have made the switch as I have: Is it better?

I'll put in my own two cents here. Note that this comes from a person who played a Lv. 70 into raid content. I think Warhammer is better. This is from an RPG-lover's PoV. The story progresses fluidly, and each of the different classes are truly unique. Even among the similar careers, something clearly seperates them from each-other. I like how everything goes towards a final goal, and I like that the final goal is the destruction of your opponent's city. City raids were essentially pointless in WoW. The two factions were at war, yes, but the war was clearly a seperate thing from the progression of a character and the rest of the world. Even if a person were to get full S4 gear and rule arena, BG's, and open-field PvP, it was all for personal satisfaction. After all, what set a server apart from another? Defeat of Illidan. Even that was just a boon for those who conquered him, and the PvP'ers were left out of the glory.

Warhammer changes that. RvR (their way of saying PvP) is essential to the story, character progression, and overall success for a realm. This game is a PvP'ers paradise. The content is so enjoyable that even I, a dedicated PvE player in WoW, now see it as the pinnacle of gameplay. The PvE content is great as well. By doing certain things, you eventually get exceptionally good rewards. Taking over certain points in each area gives your side awesome buffs and bonuses. You are able to hop into a party of your own accord and work alongside others. In the end, the fact that everything you do contributes to total victory is what clearly makes this game a cut above.

Could there be changes? certainly. Already I have a few things that are quite bothersome and should be tended to for the future success of the game. Firstly: travel is difficult. As opposed to WoW, where you have many MANY flightpaths available to you, WaR only has one, maybe two flightpoints in a given area. This may not sound too bad, but when the areas ore as vast as they are, it gets annoying to spend about ten minutes running from one side of a level to another in order to group up with some people. Secondly: rezing is a PAIN. You don't release and come bac as a ghost so you can run back to your plave of death, you rez at a certain spot in each area. Unfortunately, you don't always end up in the closest spot and as said before: massive space = lotsa travel time. Third: Crafting skills are not set up in proportion to gathering skills! I am a talisman maker. My gathering skill, magical salvaging, gets me about half of what I need. However, I then need the OTHER half of the ingredients from, you guessed it, the auction house. Now, there are several ways to counter that (ask a friend, create another character to get the stuff for you), but they are annoying and unreliable. The best way to counter this would to let people choose two gathering skiils. That would make life alot easier.

However, all these are complaints of convenience, not overall gameplay. I still hold that Warhammer has things going for it that WoW cannot boast.

Enough of what I think, I'll do more of that later. Now, how about you?

Hey all!

I'm looking for the "shoop da woop" sound clip. It is imperative to my current project that I get it. the only link I could find was old and the file had been deleted.

For those who don;t know this particular name, it's the one where that voice goes "I'MMA FIRIN' MY LAYZAAA!!!" and shoots a lazaa from his mouth.

This is the best use of it yet. Any1 know where to find that sound clip?

I personally think you saw the black girl, she stood out, and somehow you made her the focus. entirely unconsious, but people WILL look at you and automatically judge you as racist. I know, it's happened to me before. fortunately, I was not sued, but any form of racism, no matter how unintentionally said, can be made grounds for a lawsuit these days.

true. I bet with an acute enough sense of how much damage is done by what and a few faries could beat ANY LOZ game with maybe only... 5 hearts. 3 if they're Jesus.

.............................k. Maybe you just don't get what this is like for me. I've never really gotten all the heart containers before in ANY Legend of Zelda Game. I didn't even notice ow close I was to getting them all in this game. I just noticed one day: "...Holy Crap! I've got 18/20 heart containers! let's get the other two!" So really, it's not that I'm a completionist, it's just that I've never been this close to being absolutely COMPLETE.
