where do i start?
well in mid-august i went in for the surgery, i expected to be in there a week maybe two.I ended up in there for four weeks.
the idea of the operation is to attatch pins/screws to my spine and then move my spine and stick the rods in (i think, have not seen X-ray yet (i'll be able to see the X-ray in a month or so (next appointment). anyway getting the pins/screws in place went well, then the next part was to move my spine.
it did not go so well, a monitor (what must check feeling in my legs) went to 0 (left leg) it was 100 on my right (the surgeons told me) anyway they woke me up on the operating table, and asked me to move my left leg, (I think i did)anyway they had another go. the same thing happend, so they had to abort the OP. meanwhile (me not even knowing what day of the week it was) went for an MRI to check everything was ok. it was :).
i was really ill for around 2 days i think, anyway i had to go into traction
head to pelvis traction and then i had my spine moved 2mm per day for 14 days, which helped a LOT
the curve before the OP was 94o it is now 54o. anyway 2 weeks later the rods had to go in. thankfully all pulled through in the end.
ive only been able to have unspported mobilty for 2 weeks. now i can move around like i could before the OP.
also im apparently the FIRST in the uk to have that kind of traction done.

last year we could not be arsed to get someone in to get rid of this nest. it got big in the roof. my dad threatend to do it. so we asked someone for a ladder. but we chickened out at the last minuite.

we had one last year in the roof. this guy sprayed soem kind of powder into the nest and it killed them. maybe i should just use that and spray it in blindly. if i miss though im dead.
