McCain defended Gov. Jan Brewer's decision to sign the bill, but stopped short of saying he supported the law as written during a town hall meeting Saturday in Tucson, KGUN-TV reported.

"That's a state decision. I have not had a chance to take a look, but the fact is, the state is acting because the federal government hasn't," he said. But McCain also acknowledged that he wasn't sure "whether all of it is legal or not," Politico's Ben Smith noted.

This kind of topic is also posted in the political forum, but since the majority of you guys don't even steer away from here I'm posting this because I want a General perspective on shit. My state passed a new law and its causing quite the choas here.

Racial profiling has existed since..well...forever. Wether this law was passed or not, our cops still checked on minorites because wether we like to admit it or not, we will always be a racist country. We may have a black president, but it's a cover up for most human beings that tend to hide their inner most true feelings. I don't like it, but the new law is here to stay. And for good reason. If we don't, we will soon become North Mexico as obnoxious as that sounds of me.
