I am a fatass and can only manage about 10 at the moment.

No, I don't have shame in calling myself a fat bastard.

Finnaly managed to get system restore going after unplugging the mouse. Hopefully this will fix things. Thanks.

Can mp3s hold virus'?

It is possible, but if it is a virus, then why didn't it affect my old computer. It has WinXP too. And why would Memoriex place a virus on their stuff. This MP3 player is brand new.

Need computer help Posted April 23rd, 2008 in General

I am on my little sister's computer at this moment. I really need help as I don't know what to do. You may think that not having the main computer running to be trivial, but I really need it, as does my dad and step-mom.

What happened was after watching Yatzee's review on SSBB, I decided to plug in an MP3 player that, for some reason, didn't work. It didn't work at my old home either, but it didn't do to that what it apparently did to my dad's computer. After plugging it in, the mouse ceased to work. So, since it stopped working before and all that was done was to simply restart the computer, that is what I did. I pushed the panic keys (ALT+CTRL+Delete) and went to shut down, then restart. After the computer began to restart, it gave an error message saying that a specific .dll file needed to be replaced, as it was either missing or corrupt. The thing is we can do nothing because the keyboard isn't responding, otherwise I would have just performed a system restore. We tried plugging in a different keyboard, and that is when we learned that the keyboard recieves power, but does nothing when keys are pressed. This also prevents me from using the WinXP disk to replace said .dll file, and it also prevents me from just reformatting the harddrive.

Do any of you know what is going on?

Resurecting an old thread here, I am lookin for a song fro my mom. She says it was done by ZZ Top using only a guitar, possibly an acoustic guitar. She does not know the name of the song. Can anyone help identify what song I'm looking for?

During multiplayer, whenever the host server loads up the Grinder map, nearly all of my controls lock up. This has happened on multiple servers, when they load up the Grinder map. The only thing that responds are my primary and secondary fire buttons, which are bound to my left and right mouse buttons, respectively, but I the ammo count never goes down, and I can't hurt anyone. I explained this once on the server that loaded up the Grinder map, and I got a "kind" "Tell someone who gives a sh**.

I've already said my two cents about the anime, but I never really addresed the "symptoms" of the OP.

You like cartoons that orginate from Japan. Personallly, I don't care what you do. I also think that nothing is wrong with you and that you are just an avid fan of this Japanese animation, as my older sister is an avid fan of Bleach and I am an avid fan of Gankutsuou. The only time this actually becomes a problem is when it takes over your entire life, like how Everquest or some other MMO did for that guy that killed himself over an e-girlfriend. At that point someone would need to beat some sense into you and return you to reality. As cruel as it is, it is still reality, and no one is going to alter it, especially out of sheer boredom.

Sadly the old days are dead. Have you seen the crap on Saturdays?

Response to: Hellsing and Bleach Posted August 23rd, 2007 in General

Hellsing is a good anime, but if it isn't out already, wait for a second version they are working on. If memory serves me right it is supposed to be based on the comic (or manga, for the mega anime fans), which means that it is going to be more gorey than the first one.

As for Beach, I have seen very little of it, but my older sister is an avid fan of it and says it is "t3h awesomes," or whatever.

She's an insanely selfish bitch. People love her for that.
I think having a yellow ribbon makes all blemishes go away.

Are you sure it is because of her selfishness, or because they just want to see the freshman girl in that retarded black bunny outfit.

So glad I graduated. Otherwise I would not hear the end of it...

I would take the bike. I can't do tricks on it, but at least I won't fall off five seconds after getting on.

Response to: Gruesome videogame deaths Posted August 18th, 2007 in General

For nostalgia purposes, I'll be talking about a game called Moonstone for the Amiga. It is difficult to choose just one. There's your knight's head being bitten off, impaled on a spear and just left to hang on said spear, squashed in two separate ways, or a beheading.

Go here and look under "Regions and Enemies" to find the different kinds of enemies in the game, as well as short clips the various was of how they kill you.

Why? Are volcanoes insignificant?

Response to: Global Warming Just A Math Error? Posted August 17th, 2007 in General

Has anyone bothered to factor in things such as active volcanoes? Those things spew tons of shit into the air when they erupt. Personally, I think the severity of global warming has been blown out of proportion.

Response to: Recording/screen capture problems Posted August 16th, 2007 in General

Well, I want to record me playing MUGEN, among other things.

Recording/screen capture problems Posted August 16th, 2007 in General

Whenever I try to record me playing MUGEN with FRAPS, all I get is a black screen with only sound. Yet it records Project64 just fine. I tried using SnagIt, CamStudio, and Windows Media Encoder and the end product of those is just awful. So until I have the money to get a better computer, I have to settle with this low end computer. As for getting a job, the current job market here in Tennessee suck shit. I have applied to 5 different stores and nothing, plus there is only one vehicle and my mother uses it to get to and from work. This situation will improve once the year ends, for that is when we will move from here to Washington. But a short term fix for this will be appreciated. Thanks.

Response to: The Best Gta Character? Posted August 16th, 2007 in General

I feel that Tommy is the best. Carl was ok, and he did get into some, interesting situations (ie. Catalina), Claude just, for the most part, did what he was told. I haven't played GTA:LC stories, but I have watched my sister play VC stories, and Vic doesn't sound threating. A threat coming from him doesn't compare from a threat from Mr. Vercetti.

Response to: Whats programs are you running? Posted August 15th, 2007 in General

Most of the time it is Internet Explorer and AVG Free.

Right now I have disk defrag working on my primary slave drive (D) as it had finnished the primary master (C) much earlier. Sometimes I also have Windows Media Player if I'm watching a video or listening to 2 Sense, and Bittorrent to seed/download stuff.

Response to: Disk Defragmentation Posted August 15th, 2007 in General

That make sense. Thanks for simplifying it for me.

Disk Defragmentation Posted August 15th, 2007 in General

I was wondering just what exactly does disk defrag do? It says it in the help menu but it wasn't %100 clear to me. All I know is that it is a good thing to run disk defrag at every interval, even though I don't.

Response to: Moving Posted August 8th, 2007 in General

Right now, I'm in Tennessee. My new home will be in or near Port Orchard, Washington. Google map guesstimates that the drive, if non-stop, would take one day and four-teen hours.
