Thanks the both of you. I sent you both a PM, please respond to it when you get the chance.

Any others interested as well? We are looking for character artists, creature artists, environment artists, prop artists, any kind of artist, really.

Hey all, this is sort of a bump. We had an artist (LiftYourSkinnyFists), but he seems to have disappeared. He hasn't been on Skype in roughly three weeks and I can't get ahold of him anywhere.

We are in need of some artists, and we have a clear art direction we would like to go with. Here is the concept art (done by LiftYourSkinnyFists) for the main character:

Please, we really need some artists to help out that can make stuff in the art style demonstrated above. Reply here or send me a message on Skype: dalindeck .

Thank you!

I don't know why you are avoiding the style however. This is a fairly important thing for your artists to know. And while I am fully capable of animation, is there going to be any? Or is your artist exclusively an artist? Is it concept, or in game art. Anyways, hit me up with a pm if you want to talk details.

Was asleep, my bad. To answer your questions, the art style isn't really set in stone yet... As we are all programmers, we are not incredibly good artists so we would be willing to let the artists suggest some styles. Very rough concept art for the character was done by Avengix and you can see it here.

There will be animations, but we are also looking for artists to do environments as well as other set pieces (boxes, random objects, etc.) If any of you have Skype, we can discuss things further on there (that way we can communicate quicker and more effectively than a message board). My Skype is: dalindeck.

Thanks!

I'm also a part of this team, and I'll say that we are a group of three programmers working on a game. We can write it fine, we just are lacking in the art department. We currently have an artist that works in industry that is helping out as much as he can, but as he is busy in industry he cannot devote much time. We are looking for artists who would like to add a game to their portfolio as well as be considered for any future games that we develop.

We are not sure if money will come out of this project, but if we do make any money, then I'm sure we can work out some sort of compensation for your time. We need as much art as you are willing to produce, and no more. We are not going to harass you or hound you for work, especially since we are not sure if money will come.

If you help us out, though, and do a good job, then we will likely pick you up for future games as well, which would mean that you get a cut of any profit we make from those games. You will also be exposed to someone in industry which could help you out when looking for future jobs.

Let us know if you're interested!
Thanks.
