I thought of something like this way back when the redesign was launched, but by now I have gotten way too used to the "basic" look of the page so I'm not changing it.

Ah well, it's still a neat thing though.

I own these and they all are useless:

- Some really ugly painting on my wall, but too lazy to remove it
- A lot of books I have never read and never will read in my bookshelf
- Traditional jewish hat (I don't even know where did I get it from!)
- My MS Office CD's pack and the thing has already been expired due to the amount of uses
- My Wacom Intuos 3 A4 Tablet (I never really use it, ONLY when I mess around in new drawing programs)

And then... Alarm Clock, which is really useless as my phone's alarm clock is much more noisier and useful

For me the perfect day would be when I have fulfilled these:

- I have my own apartment (rented or my own, doesn't matter)
- I have gotten the job for animator, graphic designer or anything in between
- I wouldn't have to see my sister and brother ever again

For me they mostly are fruits.

Such as apples, oranges and such.
Sometimes I eat sandwiches with salad, tomato and pepperoni inside them.

...
But most of the time I just skip snacks.

Topic: PS3: should I even bother?

Posted: 10/13/08 04:11 PM

Forum: Video Games

If you for real can get PS3 for 50 dollars, you seriously should go for it.

At the moment sure, there aren't that many games worth buying, rather than MGS4, the Rachet and Clanks and maybe the Uncharted.

But who knows what the game publishers might suddenly release for the PS3, but I doubt that for a long time though.

Funny how PS2 used to rule the marketings now that PS3 is the least sold from the Wii, XboX 360 and PS3 itself

Whenever I'm actually need of energy to stay awake for longer time, I drink any from these:

- ED (which stands for Energy Drink, logic much? Also really expensive)
- Mad Croc (the cheapest and tastes pretty good)
- Rodeo
- Teho

The last mentioned is only sold in Finland, I think.

Teho = Power, in case if you wonder

What, 15? At that age you don't really expect to get that far anyway expect if you are in a relationship for real.

I have myself never kissed a girl to the lips and never will, I like being lonely rather than with a girl.

And no, I'm not gay either. I'm something in between who doesn't like boys nor girls "that" way

They seemed like posts you could expect from a new person.

But what I do regret is the thing how much I used the word thing "OMG" and how my English was crap back in those days.

And probably some poeple keep latops with 'em, or so many users aren't American actually.

Topic: Metroid.

Posted: 10/13/08 04:15 AM

Forum: Video Games

I myself hope a good 2D Metroid for DS or so. Even a DS remake of Super Metroid would be enough for me. I wouldn't have anything against another 3D game either, especially that the controls were simple and good in the Metroid Prime 3.

It cannot be Prime game, as the Phazon was destroyed for once and for all, so they have to think of something else.

Also what interests me is that what happens after Metroid Fusion, it could be a possible story for new Metroid game.

At 10/12/08 11:35 PM, Deadly-Shadow wrote: They're going to re-release Metroid Prime 1 & 2 for the Wii with new controls, but other than that, I don't think we'll be seeing any more of the Prime series. I'm glad that they're making a Wii version of Metroid Prime though, seeing that the controls were amazing in the third game.

They are re-releasing those? Thank god I haven't bought 'em yet then as GC discs!

I never had a game cube so I missed them on that console, but I have Wii now so...

Wow, just wow. I would rather use that money wasted on that to something more useful and if I was that rich, I would probably at least give some money to the charity or something.

I would be happy as long I get enough money to feed myself and maybe buy something new from time to time.

Science > Religion

I've been doing this whole password business wrong. My ideal password is using the same word for all my internet passwords, that is just 6 characters long, no numbers, no cases.

I used to have that too, but when all the sites where I went to got hacked... I went straight away and gave whole lot different passwords to ever site, although I still have some passwords that are the same on different sites. Depending on the site... The harder the password is.

Newgrounds has probably my 3rd hardest password, MSN and Hotmail have the hardest.

Mega Man 7 fan made 8-bit version is better than the original SNES version, go play it!

Rockman 7 8-bit styled version!

(TL;DR at the end)
I actually liked Mega Man 7 pretty much, but I never liked the way it was presented. Especially the Mega Man sprites looked ugly, music wasn't all that good, but otherwise I thought the game was swell. (Bass was badass)
Especially I liked the bosses expect Shade Man appearantly.

So, this is a fan-made 8-bit version of the game which kicks ass over the original SNES version anytime.
One of the biggest plusses is that you directly start with all the 8 bosses being able to be selected, not like how it was in the Capcom made one where you had to beat 4 bosses before the rest became avaible after an "extra" stage or so.

The game is little bit more fast paced so even if I found Mega Man 7 on SNES really easy, this still can give you some more challenge even if it's just "downgraded" (more like "upgraded") version of the game.

Some bosses especially give me hard time due to the fact they are lil' faster and I'm not using the weakneses

The game isn't a ROM hack, so you don't need an emulator for it, so it's more legal in that matter.

Download link - Rockman Perfect Memories

Just extract the .ZIP file, open up "RM7" inside the folder it gives out and have fun playing!

Dialogue is in Japanese, so if anyone knows English patch for it, please link. Just that if there are any.

Controls are the following as default:

Q - Start
A/S - Change weapon
Z - Jump
X - Shoot (hold to charge)

And to slide, press and hold Down arrow and press jump button.

No wonder why I'm such a strange fella these days.

My record was that I got detention every day for two months in the kindergarten :p

My family has been in some close calls in this matter already, sure it isn't laughing matter.

We actually have two fireplaces (three if you count the sauna) and four fire detectors plus two carbonmonoxyde detectors near the fireplaces.

You just simply close the chimney hatch too early and the next thing you know is that you might be dead by the carbonmonoxyde.

Quite lot of those been happing here where I live.

In case if you use Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector like I do, some firewalls block it from accessing the net, but they do connect to the console.

In my case I use ZoneAlarm, but everytime I want to go Wi-Fi I have to disable it and then connect.

So, if you use the USB router, be sure to check if the firewall blocks the connection.

But I would go fine with designing and programming as I'm slowly getting to the one last mentioned.

So basically anything that goes in to the categories of animation or computer related work.
