I have a Club Nintendo account, but the thing is that the damn club doesn't really do anything for Finnish users like me. So it was pretty much waste of my time to even bother to register.

So... I can register my games and get... Nothing! That's worth the time you spend registering those games, right?!

They sent me a nice birthday picture to my e-mail thou' :3

Where the heck is Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift?
What's going on here?!

It's by so far my biggest favorite out of all my games I own (or have owned).
And the lack of Advance Wars: Dual Strike being mentioned is like terrorism.

Well, my top five out of my 16 games would be the following...

1. Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift
2. Mega Man ZX: Advent
3 & 4. Advance Wars: Dual Strike AND Dark Conflict (known as "Days of Ruin" in US), can't decide which is better
5. Mario Kart DS

Wow, didn't expect that. But if I was in his place, I would have probably done the same. "Such is life" has more odds at Tank Awards than "Left 4 Speed" afterall.

Also it's my birthday everyone missed, heh

Any Metal Gear Solid game. Because they are so cinematic it wouldn't be a problem to do one, really.

To my knowledge Nintendo has stated they are working on a new Zelda game, but nothing like images or such have been put out.

But there was a site, that stated "The Legend of Zelda" and in the corner there was written "Coming 2010". Other than those there was a detailed image of realistic looking Link drawing or helding Master Sword with Triforce on the background. But the site lacked the Nintendo logo, which obviously made it a hoax. Some said it was a hoax for a remake of the first LoZ title.

Only game I have really regretted buying is Viewtiful Joe: Douple Trouble for DS.
The game was over in couple of hours and harder difficulties just yelded even more points, so you could buy more stuff from the store.

Maybe they want to remind Newgrounders that the collab is not out yet or something.
Or just that it's coming along slowly... Heck, I don't know either.

They will probably change it the day of the collab's release. At least.

If this game gets sponsoring, money will be split.

But so far I have thought that no money would be made out of this game, when it's done.
Plus the fact I would be using Audio Portal music only, it would be basically just stealing the money from those musicians.

Topic: Programmer wanted for a flash game

Posted: 02/18/09 01:34 PM

Forum: Flash

Hey Newgrounders, I'm looking for a programmer for a flash game to be called "Gravity Circuit".

I'll get in to the background story and gameplay for the game first:

In the year 2175, Gravity Circuit project has begun. The leader of the project is Adam Provétzki and the project's purpose is to research the possibilities of a powerful machine, that would be capable of changing the gravitation and even neutralize it. In the game you play as the role of a poweful computer program, _X and _Y variables changing gravity execute file, shortly referred as "X32G.exe".

The game progresses through the gameplay as X32G.exe, while the story of the game progresses from the view of Adam Provétzki in a comic book typed style.

Gameplay uses arrow keys and WASD keys. You move the character with your arrow ones while the WASD change the gravitation to various directions. Your basic goal is to get to the end of each stage, but some stages require you to solve puzzles or try to stay alive as long as possible.

.

I do not want to give out all that much for the game itself, so I'll get in to the business...

Details:
Payment?:NO PAYMENT, BUT PROGRAMMER GETS HIS NAME IN TO THE GAME ITSELF AND GETS A CO-AUTHOR.
Programming language: AS2.0 or 3.0. 3.0 would be the better one though.
The site for it to be put: The game will put only on to Newgrounds. (expect if I and programmer agree on another site)
Imporant: It would be nice if you can show your previous programming work if there's any, especially if it's platforming based.

I will do all the graphics, so no need to worry about that you lack artistic talent.

You're free to send your example work to me through a Newgrounds PM or send me an e-mail:
Max-Movies@Hotmail.com

...Or you can check my website for other ways of contacting me, I prefer e-mail, NG PM and MSN though. Do not overdo it either, it will probably end up to annoy me if you send me tons of messages.

The better the example work you send is, the better odds you have to be picked!

NOTE! THERE'S A DEADLINE TO APPLY: 1st of March.
I'll check everyone's messages and by that date I'll pick the one who seems to be the most suitable for the job.

Thanks, and start sending!
~Shadowii2

An image with the X32G.exe character and the title design, that might be changed in the overall game.

That would be cool, like subscribe to your favourite artists and get an email everytime they create somthing new

That actually DOES happen. When an artist you have as your favorite submits something new, about a hour later after you receive the Top Daily 5 list in to your e-mail they will send another e-mail containing the links to flash movies that are by your favorite authors.

Doesn't work with audio submissions thou'.
